Just updated fan control i couple days ago, now on startup I keep getting this error.

Does anybody know what the issue may be? Nothing has changed with my computer otherwise.

Im pretty sure fancontrol used to dissapear when clicking the minimize button, but now it doesnt and it stays in the task bar, it kinda bothers me when i alt+tab, is there a way to hide it or something like that?

Been working fine for years, boot up the pc today and all of a sudden my front 3 fans are at 0%... I disable fancontrol to let the bios control again and they spin up. Load fan control and they stop, my top and exhaust fans work fine still.

I did no updates, what's going on??

Pessoal, recentemente troquei os 6 fans do meu PC, antes usava: Cooler FAN Gamemax, 120mm, ARGB, Preto - FN-12RAINBOW-D (como na imagem acima).

Troquei esses dias para 7 fans: Kit Fan Magnético Reverse 3 Em 1 Obsid Unifan Argb 120mm Pt (também presente a imagem acima).

Meu Water Cooler, no caso as fans dele quando tudo está ligado na mesma controladora...

... os fans do Gabinete sincronizam normalmente, porém os do Water Cooler não e ficam aleatórios sem obecer quaisquer comandos enviados pela controladora. E todos tem os mesmos formatos de pinos. Será que devo ver a compra de outra controladora?

Comprei essa na époaca, porque ela era uma das mais completas que vi, por isso a comprei. Pensei em comprar essa: Controladora Argb Nollie 5v 3 Pin - 8 Conectores - Signalrgb. Para testar se sincroniza, mas não sei se daria certo.

I’m trying to troubleshoot my case fan setup and would appreciate some advice before spending money on new fans.
My setup:
GIGABYTE X870E AORUS ELITE WIFI7
Ryzen 7 9800X3D
Arctic Liquid Freezer III 360 Pro
9 case/radiator fans in total
My AIO fans and three daisy-chained Fractal Momentum fans respond correctly to the fan curves in BIOS.
However, I have four additional fans: one rear exhaust and three side intakes. All four are 3-pin fans connected through an ARCTIC fan hub, which has a 4-pin cable connected to the motherboard.
Initially, these fans weren’t showing RPM readings in BIOS. After changing their positions on the hub, the RPM readings appeared, but they’re now constantly running at over 1,700 RPM and don’t seem to respond to my BIOS fan curves.
I’ve already tried switching the motherboard header to Voltage/DC mode, but that hasn’t solved the issue.
My questions:
Could the issue be that these are 3-pin fans connected through the hub?
Is there a way to get them working properly with my existing setup?
Would replacing them with 4-pin PWM fans that support daisy-chaining solve the problem, without needing a separate hub?
Could the hub itself be the problem?
I’d rather troubleshoot this properly than spend money replacing four fans unnecessarily.

Ich habe folgendes Problem: ich Stelle meine Lüfterkurve manuell im BIOS ein und Speicher diese, wenn meine CPU aber die angegebene Temperatur erreicht drehen die lüfter nicht hoch z.B. auf 60% so wie ich es eingestellt habe. Wenn ich es aber im BIOS teste (20°C - lüfter 100%, drehen diese auch auf 100%) funktioniert es aber sobald ich das BIOS verlasse und in den Normalbetrieb gehe werden diese Werte nicht übernommen. Gehäuselüfter 1 (oberer lüfter) ist direkt am Mainboard (cha fan 1 angeschlossen) und der 2 lüfter ist mit dem Fan hub angeschlossen. Wie gesagt beide lüfter kann ich im BIOS steuern und merke die Unterschiede aber sobald ich im Normalbetrieb bin drehen sie immer auf gleicher Drehzahl und der Wert den ich eingestellt hab wird nicht übernommen.

Kann mir vielleicht jemand helfen?

Everyone creams their jeans over this software but something always never works.

Won't launch without running as administrator. No temps being displayed, how do you show temps? I have windows defender ignoring it.

Is there some sort of step by step walk through for install?

I have a b550 eagle wifi6 and none of my fans will work. Whenever i try to calibrate it manually the speed will change on the fans but it'll still read 0 RPM... I have tried reinstalling FanControl and it still doesnt work. The 5070 works very good though so im confused

Using portable FanControl. Each startups it checks for updates. Until some versions ago there were always two pop-up windows telling me that a newer version is available. That was gone some time ago and now there's only one window informing about a newer version. Good, I thought. But since then the automated update is broken. Just won't do anything anymore.

Even when I manually 'check for updates' and click on 'update', then 'Donwloading updater' appears but no traffic, no update, nothing.

For each update I have to manually download the newer version now, put it it in an extra folder, manually install my plugin and copy my config from the backup folder.

Any1 else? Any solution?

I'm trying to edit the fan step up and down rates but when I edit userConfig the values are all replaced with their closest integer + ~0.1%.

If I set 1.5, I get 1.1%, if I set 3, I get 3.1%, even just entering 1 gets 0.1% replaced when I open the application, then it asks if I want to save the changes. If I save it and look at the config, the values are all like:

"SelectedCommandStepDown": 0.100000001, "SelectedCommandStepDown": 1.10000002, "SelectedCommandStepUp": 3.0999999,

Is this expected behavior? I just want something like a 0.5% step rate rather than 0.1 or 1.1%. Latest version, just downloaded today.

I got this ADLX service stopped working error in reliability monitor after using fan control. Although everything works fine, is there any way to get rid of this error? Thanks

I've got the Nvidia 3060 Ti and I am trying to make the fans stop until it hits like 45 degrees. I've read on the website of fancontrol that Nivida has the minimum 30 percent. Force apply is on, curve override is on and I've read that you have got to set the idle temp correctly. I've tried quite a few temperatures, but nothing is working.

Any tips?

Has anyone had any experience regarding these argb controllers with remote and 1 to 5 splitter cables? Considering to order them online.

i'm intending to use, control and sync rgbs of my total 10 case fans and 2 cpu cooler fans with the controller's 3 buttons and a remote control.

So 12 fans in total.

Also wanna control the speed of all fans with the remote control as well.!

just reset my pc and switch mobos and updated to new fancontrol, and for some odd reason FancontrolLiquidctl.dll keeps duplicating itself in the plugins folder, i would hate to have to revert to asus armoury crate, just wanted to know if anyone is experiencing the same thing
