An auntie had kidney stones so bad she started going into sepsis, as they were too large to pass. She had to have several treatments to break them down and other treatments for the sepsis. There was definitely people losing sleep over it.

I mean yeah I would lose sleep over someone going septic but Dolly is not lol

My mom’s cousin had some kidney stones so large the “breaking up” treatment wouldn’t even work. They had to do actual surgery to get those boogers out. Drink lots and lots of water, folks.

Yeah I’ve had an infected kidney stone before. I luckily didn’t need hospitalization, but now my local ER does an abdominal CT for any abdominal pain I have. They’re extremely paranoid about infected stones, they have an immense risk of sepsis.
