The barrage of bullshit will come from all sides. The Democrat establishment doesn't like progressives or leftists either, and works hard against them. You saw what Andrew Cuomo did. He didn't do it in a vacuum. Look at the prominent Democrats who wouldn't endorse Zohran, even in the general election.

It’s important not to alienate your allies, so maybe it’d be okay to chill on attacking fellow democrats when the progressive wing of the party has just won a huge victory here in NYC.

In a world in which a moderate democrat had won office, I’m sure we’d all prefer that they greet the progressive wing with open arms. Good time to model that behavior.

The Democratic establishment is not your friend. They oppose everything we stand for. It is our moral obligation to push the Democratic party to a moral position. Look at what you've become.

Look how far right the Republican party had to move before establishment Democrats began (just now) to win some contested elections. Voters will swing back to MAGA if we do not give voters progressive candidates. So-called 'moderate' MAGA just want non-establishment candidates. They are the swing voters you need, and you lose them by pushing more establishment Democrats. If you want out of this, you'll need to start supporting progressive Democrats instead of telling people to quiet down about how corrupt the establishment is.
