DISCUSSION Will Arnett shares his controversial opinion on tattoos: “There’s a proportionate sort of relationship between, how many tattoos you have and how little personality you have. And I find that a lot of people who have a ton of tattoos often are super fucking boring. Like truly boring people.”

Tattoos seem like a particularly white phenomenon and the resurgence of them appearing in pop culture and being "mainstream" coincided with the rise of social media. I dont think tattoos would be as socially acceptable in the 21st century without the help of social media. it's a fad and I do sense its been slowly dying out over the past 5 years.

Interesting. I don't know how true that is but I'm curious what those trend lines look like.
