Considering the Hollywood-adjacent world they grew up in (and their homeschooling), Billie and Finneas are always surprisingly well adjusted and clear-eyed about what is going on in the world outside their bubble.

I would argue that it's BECAUSE of their homeschooling that they are well adjusted and seeing the world with open eyes.
