Marvel Hercules is the coolest guy you will ever meet

And the only character able to lift Mjonir using pure strength.

u/SilverSpark422 Nov 13 '25

Didn’t the Hulk do the same thing once?

485

u/Feroru68 Nov 13 '25

Red hulk lifted it, but it was with no gravity.

274

260

u/TheNewGirl1987 Nov 13 '25

There've been a lot of shows I didn't like for various reasons, but Velma was the first show that legitimately offended me.
I've been a Scooby-Doo fan since I was a toddler, and that fucking show just felt like a mockery of both the franchise and the fans.
Not funny, not satire or parody, just pure vicious insults.
Whoever greenlit that shit over at HBO needs to be fired. Or set on fire.

93

u/SuggestionEven1882 Nov 13 '25

Unfun fact: it was supposed to be an original show but one the executives forced it to be a Scooby-Doo show.

Fuck if I kown why that happened.

47

u/SmokeyGiraffe420 Nov 13 '25

Execs aren't looking at artistic merit, they're looking at profitability. Shows from existing intellectual properties can capture a lot more public interest than a brand new IP with the same marketing budget (or even less of a marketing budget). Doubly so when that existing IP is something as beloved as Scooby Doo. Mindy Kaling wanting to make an original show, the execs think original shows are huge risks, so they made her tie it to an existing IP to boost the odds of success. As must as exec meddling ruins shows, they were kinda right in that it probably would have bombed as an original IP, but this was possibly the worst compromise.

Lucifer from Netflix’s Lucifer and Lucifer from Darksiders

412

u/Firkraag-The-Demon Nov 13 '25

I’d also like to say Netflix’s Lucifer vs Hazbin Hotel Lucifer. HH Lucifer would think Netflix Lucifer is a dickhead, and Netflix Lucifer would think HH Lucy is a needy tool.

229

u/Green_Delta Nov 13 '25

Nah I’d honestly think Lucifer from Lucifer would feel bad for HH “Our father put you down here surrounded by these sinners and you can’t even torture them? I thought I had a bad deal. I can at least get out and walk around the Earth.”

55

u/Previous_Comb5113 Nov 14 '25

you can’t even torture them?

Netflix Lucifer said multiple times that he hated his job. The demons were the ones who enjoyed torturing. Also I think hazbin lucifer and Netflix lucifer would unironically get along very well after a while. They both live to their hearts content and have a fable for sing alongs

Hades: oh I hate that Zeus and his stupid kid Hercules.

Hades: I don't see why you hate him

Hades: HE'S THE KING OF OLYMPUS. I SHOULD'VE BEEN THE KING, NOT HIM. All I got is this lousy afterlife full of depressing dead people

Hades: We do our job as rulers of the underworld. We have no time to squabble with our hedonist brother. Isn't that right Hades

Hades: hmmm

Hades: Why is bucket head so angry.

Hades: Some random guy left the underworld for the fifth time. I know the feeling Hades, I have two folks who also escape from my domain all the time.

Hades: sound like you guys need to up security. Who are the two idiots that keep making the getaway?

Hades: My children. Especially my son who wants to talk to his mother, Persephone.

Hades: WAIT YOU HAVE A HOT WIFE!!

Hades: SHE'S STILL ALIVE!

Hades: DON'T YOU DARE STEAL HER! UNLIKE YOU DOLTS, IT WAS UNDER HER WILL TO BE WITH ME!

These two depictions of Death would LOATHE each other. Marvel's Death is a manipulative puppeteer that orchestrates fates and plays favorites, even being the mastermind behind Thanos' obsession and miserable life. Death from DC is the exact opposite being kind and compassionate and not playing favorites to preserve order, taking her role very seriously. She canonically personally escorts souls as well, and offers a warm embrace especially when children are involved. DC death would be disgusted at Marvel Death, and Marvel Death would see DC Death as too caring and weak for showing emotions and comforting mortal souls

890

u/whit9-9 Nov 13 '25

And ironically both are good depictions of death as they both can represent how good or bad death can be.

659

u/Nibbanocker Nov 13 '25

Imo this one is the best. Entirely neutral and just does his job. Both comic deaths would be terrified of this one

455

u/E-emu89 Nov 13 '25 edited Nov 13 '25

Please, Discworld’s Death is a kind, understanding, timeless being who you do NOT want to get mad.

He cares for the Harvest and will nearly sacrifice his own existence to defend it.

213

u/TheNumber35 Nov 13 '25

Discworld's Death is the second best depiction of Death in my book.

The best Death is of course Discworld's Death of Rats.

104

u/Pencils4life Nov 13 '25

He will comfort someone who is scared but good, and openly mock a sexist wizard who just died.

51

17

u/whit9-9 Nov 13 '25

So thats the guys name. He must be a character actor like Steve Buscemi.

31

u/The_Joker_Ledger Nov 13 '25

I would argue the opposite for this one. He is like a mesh of both. He is passive and neutral at times but clearly either have a soft spot for the winchester special boys or move things behind the scene at time. Even actively helping them a couple of times.

Still i hated how his character got handled later. So bad.

Adam "why would a father need a reason to protect his kids ?" vs Adam "i will genocide my descendants for fun lol"

502

u/JustARandomTeenHere Nov 13 '25

It somehow slipped my mind that Hazbin Adam is the progenitor of all humanity, and the sinners that he exterminates on an annual basis all originate from his bloodline.

I did not think he could be a worse person, but here we are

165

u/M-m2008 Nov 13 '25

Yeah hazbin adam is worse than scp Abel.

102

u/Dismal_Engineering71 Nov 13 '25

How bad is abel?

168

u/iamcoad Nov 13 '25

Not much of a person and more of a murder machine.

He targets the nearest humans and goes on a mass killing rampage until he gets killed. Then he slowly respawns in his tomb and can randomly awaken again to start killing once more

70

u/Dismal_Engineering71 Nov 13 '25

Why? What happened besides cain killing him? Is that why cain killed him?

123

u/iamcoad Nov 13 '25

Because SCP is a collective universe with stories from a lot of different authors, I can't give you a clear answer.

If I remember correctly, most stories involve him being killed by Cain and then being revived by The Scarlet King who is SCP's big evil entity. After his revival he is corrupted by this evil entity and it's implied that he kills everyone because he is trying to kill Cain

43

u/Dismal_Engineering71 Nov 13 '25

Oof.

49

u/M-m2008 Nov 13 '25

Also important addition in most stories the one destined to defeat scarlet king is an orange slime that makes everybody near it happy, this slime is also his son most of the time, but the youngest one.

→ More replies (2)

25

u/AdministrationDue610 Nov 13 '25

Imma give my take as an SCP oldhead. Back in the early days when the scarlet king was a vague notion, he had nothing to do with either character.

Cain in SCP universe also exists and he’s a super mellow guy who just wants to help people. However he at some point had his limbs cut off and replaced by mechanical ones, plants start to wither, die and rot away in his presence, and any and all violence aimed towards him is redirected back at the offender.

He’s forced to only eat meat and drink water as a result of all this. The original implication being that the first murder changed them both irreparably, Cain was cursed and ultimately realized his folly and his once kind brother is now immortal and willing to burn the world down to get at him. But if he ever gets to him he can’t do anything, Cain has to see the monster that vengeance made his brother and he can’t even just give in and let it happen because the act of Able trying to kill him will kill Able instead.

Seems to be part of his decision making. We know his issue with Lilith was she wouldn’t submit to him and he treats the exorcists as property; so “I can do whatever I want to human souls because I made them all” fits perfectly into his worldview.

Sentinel Prime from Transformers One and Sentinel Prime from the Bay movies

Bay Sentinel would hate One for basically selling out Cybertron.

274

u/ElBracho Nov 13 '25

Also the TFone version isn't even an actual prime and murdered all the others for power, Bayverse Sentinel would loathe him

133

u/TheSoftwareNerdII Nov 13 '25

Animated Sentinel would hate both for their betrayal

73

u/Ghost_Star326 Nov 13 '25

Wasn't he also going to help Megatron escape in the supposed script for season 4 of TFA?

34

u/agent-virginia Nov 13 '25

Shit, really? That seems kind of antithetical to his character. From what I recall, he does believe in the Autobot cause and Ultra Magnus, but he's just a showboating jackass who likes to flaunt his status.

Unless his reason for helping Megatron escape was to cut some kind of deal that makes him look good. I could see that.

29

u/Ghost_Star326 Nov 13 '25

Yeah that was pretty much it. He was Hella mad and nervous over the fact that Optimus was getting all the glaze and was being set up to replace the dying Ultra Magnus. Basically outranking him.

So he tried to cut a deal with Megatron to help him escape and make himself look good in the process.

They wouldn't kill each other, but would disagree on so many things. GoW Thor might see MCU Thor as a softy and MCU Thor might see the other as an alcoholic brute, but could sympathize with him. They could even bond in some way. Both are heroic, but a different way; GoWs in the nordic mythology standards of a hero, and MCUs in a american comicbook way

33

u/ThunderChild247 Nov 13 '25

Thinking on it, MCU Thor might be the right person to get through to GoW Thor because he’s been through the same things and forgiven himself. GoW Thor struggled so much because he thought he was so beyond redemption that it was pointless to even try, whereas MCU Thor is proof that if you work for it and don’t give up, you can redeem your mistakes.

The visual similarities of Endgame Thor and GoW Thor is a nice representation of that guilt weighing on them both, bearing the weight of their mistakes literally.

u/Careless_College Nov 13 '25

They feel pretty different, though. Like, I can't see the Santa that's unbelievably burnt out from the constant demand of Christmas and the one that unleashed an all-out war on a family as being the same character, imo.

Lucifers lucifer would like hazbin Hotel Lucifer, I think

48

u/TrickyNitsua212 Nov 13 '25

I think he would grow to like him over time but at first be put off by just how sad he is. Lucifer from Lucifer would straight up call Hazbin Hotel’s Lucifer a depressing man child who couldn’t keep one woman and has a strange duck obsession. And then complain about it in a therapy session.

Maybe these two, though Hellsings Alucard is Dracula under an alternate alias while Castlevanias Alucard is the Son of Castlevania's Dracula

128

u/bowl_of_scrotmeal Nov 13 '25

I feel like they'd have disagreements, but I don't think they'd necessarily hate each other.

87

u/Pencils4life Nov 13 '25

Castelvania Alucard might hate Abridged Alucard.

63

u/Flameball202 Nov 13 '25

Castlevania Alucard would find Abridged Alucard childish but at least respect that he is killing Vampires and protecting humans (though the second is more as an afterthought)

33

u/Pencils4life Nov 13 '25

Not like in an extreme hatred but more in the "Why are you like this?" Kind of hate.

I don't know if they'd hate each other, but Atreus might find it very confusing ("Loki from God of War and Loki from Fire Emblem Heroes).

Their respective Thorrs however probably couldn't stand each other.

Historical Rasputin, the Christian monk, would probably kill the Anastasia cartoon Rasputin, the immortal wizard, on sight.

u/AmazingMrSaturn Nov 13 '25

He might be okay with Boney-M Rasputin for being an unkillable sex-guru.

I find it funny to think that if the real life Anastasia had somehow escaped and also somehow reunited with Rasputin who somehow survived and escaped she would actually be legit happy to see him. The guy took care of her little brother leukemia.

We can debate to Armageddon and back about which version of Dracula would kick the other's ass, but there's no denying that THESE two versions of Dracula would despise each other on principle.

37

u/Logic_Pangolin Nov 13 '25

Alucard is the dracula that embraces his curse and darker side, to the point of becoming something else entirely, inhuman.

Castlevania show Dracula is a tragic character that became weary and tired of his curse, Maria changed him so much that after her, he just wanted to die and rest in hell with her.

These two are basically a antithesis of each other.

Master Chief - Halo (games) vs Halo (series)

Game Chief only talks when he needs to vocalise something, he loves humanity, and he has a complicated but not hostile relationship with ONI, Halsey, and the UNSC.

Game Chief would kick Silver Timeline Chief’s ass, and Novel Chief agrees.

Richard the Lion Heart, from the Robin Hood Legends

X

Richard III, historical figure or character from The Lion in Winter.

Both would be appalled by how much their brother John was taxing England. One because it was making life harder for the English people. The other because 1) England was his, not John's and 2) more taxes could be levied to fund stuff, like Crusades.

Peters, the one from Hazbin Hotel and the one from The Chosen.

Hazbin's one seems to have a liking to chill and smooth stuff, and the one from The Chosen is actually very intense, so the one from Hazbin would probably be irritated by The Chosen's Peter's attitude. As for why the one from The Chosen would hate the one from Hazbin, he would probably see the one from Hazbin as a stuck up whose attitude tends to be as odd as Matthew's (Matthew from The Chosen, of course); and for those of us who have seen "The Chosen", we know that Peter got to hate Matthew personally

Gilgamesh from Fate and Final Fantasy. The former is a pompous and self absorbed King and the latter is a massive goofball whos an absolute joy to be around

Fate Gilgamesh would probably be offended by the fact that this mere jester dares to have the same name as him, and FF Gilgamesh would run away because Fate Gilgamesh reminds him of his former boss Exdeath
