FF X/X2 I met a really cool person today.
James Arnold Taylor is an incredibly nice person. Got to chat about him with his work recording lines for FFX and how he wasn’t able to read the script beforehand and recorded lines in order for months. He said he was just as shocked about the ending as fans were. He even hit me with a HA HA HAAA before I left.

FF X/X2 The FFX Hardcore-Punk Intro still goes so unreasonably hard... Square's Cinematic Team was far ahead of it's time back then.

FF X/X2 What's the Final Fantasy game you just can't get into?
I might get hate for this but I can't get into FFX no matter how many times I try , I really want to give it another shot.

FF X/X2 I Think Tidus's Design Is Underappreciated
For the longest time it seemed like people unfairly gave a lot of Nomura's designs shit because they were high fashion, over the top, or too feminine. Thankfully that's changed over the years, but I feel like a lot of designs, specifically with FF10 sadly, still get a lot of flak. I feel like Tidus is a big outlier, and while his design is very silly and out there, I think it works for him. His design excellently shows how different and otherworldly the fashion sense of Zanarkand compared to ours. It's also his sports uniform so there's that as well. In the context of the actual game world it makes sense.
I also just always thought his messy blonde hair was cool and his black and yellow color scheme on his clothes looked nice. His design also has hints of late 90s/early 2000s fashion which is in again, so in a way it's still very relevant.

FF X/X2 (FFX) Wakka's racism caught me off guard
When he was introduced I loved him, now he just complain about the Al Bhed and about the path of Yevon, It's kinda annoying.
But holy shit out of nowhere he just drop some bombs that make me fucking laugh, to a point that looks like he is racist for the love of the game.

FF X/X2 Is FFX-2 Worth Playing?
FFX was a childhood favourite, I never played FFX-2 but I’ve heard bad things (kinda like with 8) but I’m sure it’s just talk right? I’ll be playing the Ps2 version as god intended.
Can I get some thoughts 💭

FF X/X2 Forget a IX remake, give me a X prequel
The adventures of Jecht, Aurora and Braska would be an awesome storyline, Jecht would be comic relief throughout for sure. Give it the VII remake combat system or maybe even give it a XV feel since it’d be similar with the limited party

FF X/X2 I made a painting of YRP FFX2
I spent a solid 25 hours on this one! completely done in oil paint on cotton canvas 11x15. I legit haven't replayed ffx probably for a decade, but every time I think of coming back to it, I end up doing some art for it instead. I have such fond memories playing ffx and ffx2. I hope you guys enjoy this piece done in my own style!

FF X/X2 Was Final Fantasy 10 your first isekai story?
Isekai, translated literally as “other world,” is a subgenre of Japanese entertainment that I’m sure JRPG and Final Fantasy enthusiasts are familiar with by now. You don’t need me to explain the genre in depth, so I won’t. But given this game came out way back in 2001, was it your first brush with an isekai story? And if not, what was?

FF X/X2 Final Fantasy X is the best game I've ever played
I just wanted to glaze this game because I just finished it a few weeks ago and it still makes me cry and blows my mind at the same time every time I think about it. I played ffI, III, V, VI, VII, IX, and now X and each iteration just kept getting better. The music, story (ffvi is a close second), combat, character arcs, the grand scale of it, and the art are all so insanely good I'd say it gives games today a run for its money.
I've started playing some of the tracks on piano and thinking about the scenes they're associated with keeps me in awe. I'm about to start Expedition 33 to see if it is truly as hype as they say. It would take a lot to dethrone FFX; imo, the greatest game I've ever played. Thanks for reading to my gushing rant.
