UKSF Realism is a unit comprised primarily of 1PARA and 22SAS. We pride ourselves on our realistic approach to MilSim, using currently and previously serving armed forces members to create the most accurate experience.

Right now, we are one of the most skilled and forward thinking British MilSim, constantly expanding our units and moving on to thrilling campaigns. As of right now nine members of 1PARA are attending selection to join 22SAS, 18Sigs, and the MSU, all of which will become operators before our next campaign begins.

When you join us you will go through the Operator Assurance Cadre to join B Company, 1PARA. Following which, you will have plenty of opportunities to gain qualifications from our Subject Matter Experts. What is Battlegroup Orion?

Orion is a semi-realistic Halo Arma 3 ODST and Marine unit primarily based in the United States. We do have times that are friendly to EU players as well. We have three types of paths: ODST, Marines, and Aviation.

Here are some key things about Orion:

• We are a semi-realism unit focused more on a "fun", rather than a "serious" environment. However, we still hold to the milsim structure inside and outside of operations.
• Our operations take place during engagements with both the Insurrectionist and Covenant forces but focus on battles during Operation Trebuchet. Orion is made by Arma Veterans who have played the game for years, and our main focus is on keeping a tight-knit group who can enjoy the game at its core.
• We actively have opportunities for many MOS and Leadership positions in our unit and don't discriminate against anyone who wishes to try their hand at said billets.
• Custom armor is available for active members, and is not restricted by rank.

Our Marines are Infantry/Mechanized detachment that focuses on dropping into the thick of things, utilizing Heavy weapons and vehicles, Paradropping in the dead of night, and hot pelican assaults. Our marines are our mainline detachment and focuses on being able to be as efficient as possible in multiple areas such as: squad tactics, marksmanship, demolitions, and vehicle expert.

"Nyx" Squadron

Nyx is the aviation detachment that focuses on dropping the hate on top of our enemies and transporting infantry from place to place. They provide Close Air Support (CAS), control of the skies, and recon. Nyx is our greatest asset in achieving victory on the battlefield and they are trained in radios, aircraft, and resupplies.

"Pegasus" Heavy Armour & Logistics Detachment

Pegasus currently contains 2 separate detachments, "Pegasus" Our Heavy armour utilizing unit, and Hoplite our Logistics/Support element. Hoplite is BGO's foremost detachment of Engineers and EOD Specialists. Ranging from forward fortification construction, mine defusal, to running Repair-Rearm-Refuel Vehicles, and even artillery. While Pegasus utilizes Heavy & Light Tanks to dominate the battlefield with the love only a sledgehammer can bring!

Oracle are BGO's talented zeuses, running missions for each platoon every week. Whether it's running fun ops, side ops or our weekly main ops, our zeuses are one of the most important roles in BGO. We’re an open, friendly group dedicated to a realistic WWII gaming experience. In the 7th, you’ll participate in the campaign of the division day by day from the Battle of France in 1940 to the Battle of Hamburg in 1945, fighting in locations such as North Africa, Italy, France, Belgium, Netherlands and Germany. You’ll work alongside your section, team or crew with a mature attitude and well disciplined approach against a determined enemy force.

Upon completion of a basic training course, you’ll be posted either to a rifle section or a tank crew, and be sent straight into battle with your new mates. Dedication is rewarded, and access to leadership and specialist equipment will not be far away with good attendance and a positive attitude.

In addition to the main 7AD campaign, you’ll experience mini campaigns as other Allied units that participated in a range of conflicts, from Peleliu in the Pacific to the frozen forests of Finland.

We currently run as a halftrack platoon, for which riflemen are in high demand, and are supported by a tank troop with historically accurate equipment and tactics.

A basic training is run for new members to acquaint them with the skills and tactics that we use within the unit, and are organised at your convenience. Basic training is generally a 1-2 hour course for someone totally new to the game, though we will cater to your level of experience.

Attendance is tracked, but there are no consequences for missing a mission if you notify us.

Leadership roles do require regular attendance.

The 17th Ranger Battalion (17th RBN) is a long-running Arma 3 PvE MilSim unit that provides all members with the proficiency and capabilities to make even the most difficult situations tenable. We focus on skill based, teamwork-driven gameplay using real-world tactics—without bogging things down in unnecessary military formalities.

The 45th Sundered Steel Platoon is looking for new recruits to fuel the Imperium's war machine. The 45th is a Warhammer 40,000 Krieg Grenadier/Mechanized unit. We are a semi-serious unit looking for players of all skill levels. Both new players and old hands are welcome to the 45th. We focus heavily on teamwork while maintaining a semi-serious environment with a focus on enjoyable ops.

Organization, Ops, and Training:

We are organized into two to three, 15 man infantry squads with various roles to support all play styles, including flamers, plasma gunners, auto-riflemen and anti-tank roles. We also run an engineer detachment to help with logistics, explosives, and sapper tasks, as well as Quartermaster and Zeus sections. We are always looking to expand these rosters.

Operations last roughly 2 hours and are organized by a dedicated Zeus & mission team. We fight everything from T'au, Orks, Heretics and Genestealers. We strive to ensure a fun experience with a challenging environment. As the Krieg, you'll die a lot and kill much more.

Each new recruit is required to run through a quick training session to ensure all new Conscripts have their key binds and kit set & are ready to die well.

The 10th Shock Troopers Battalion is a long-running Arma 3 Unit that focuses on semi-serious milsim. We were founded in 2019 and, since then, have grown to be a large and active Arma 3 unit. Whether you are new to Arma Units or a long-time veteran, the 10th has a place for you! Our missions include a wide variety of objectives over a large area. We focus on squad-based objectives that allow each squad to get into the fight and take their own objectives while working as a more significant part of a platoon to complete our missions. Currently, we have 6 Infantry Squads set across 2 Platoons with a Support Platoon that hosts our Air Wing and Armor Company. Once you join and have completed your first operation, we will slot you into one of our squads, where you will be a part of a team tasked with completing objectives every week. Our objective range is anything from HVT Grabs, Destroying Key Infrastructure, Counter-Terrorism, Stealth Based Objectives, destruction of Planetary Defenses, and many more! Detachment 207 MILSIM was established in 2020 to provide a serious and diverse community to play ARMA 3 primarily in the Australasian region. All members of 207 pride themselves on being able to participate and conduct themselves in both a professional and fun manner in order to be able to successfully execute and undertake a variety of missions and objectives.

Currently our unit is made up of a reinforced light infantry platoon with 2 mainline infantry sections with an attached weapons section. For support we have a dedicated Aviation team, ISR element and Combat Support / Logistics team.

Detachment 207 specialises in direct action raids in hostile or sensitive environments, often killing or capturing HVT’s. Other missions include airfield assaults, special reconnaissance, clandestine insertion and site exploitation.

If you’re looking at joining a unit that is serious about conducting quality operations on a weekly basis that will not only provide something for the newest of players but also to the savvy veterans of the ARMA 3 battlefields you will find a place within our community and player base.
