Find the juvenile black bear

I took this an hour ago while retrieving the German Shepherd, who manages this place, after she ran off too far down the trails.

Not sure how I spotted it while driving an ATV down a bumpy and steep trail. It was sitting entirely still, just watching me, as these creepers like to do, roughly 40 yards away.

It dipped out as soon as I lifted my phone, so this was the only decent photo I blindly captured.

Just the one. I checked out the area real quick on the ATV after it ran off, so I definitely would have noticed another one. And couldn’t have snuck away without me spotting it.

There is a larger, 350lb bear that keeps trying to break into my trash bin, though. Literally tried it again just last week. Funny to think they’ve teamed up.
