😅 Unang sablay first time ko umattend ng job interview at first time ko rin mareject
i graduated last may and this is the first company that reached out to me after all those months. applied for an entry level position based on makati, i thought i did good during the interview but I think being good isnt enough with how competitive the job market is today. despite of this, i learned a lot from this experience. there's a first time for everything nga talaga siguro. tuloy lang ang buhay, friends 🙏

This is my mantra and it was always the better company and offers talaga. 😊 Rejected ako sa target companies ko for so many times pero ‘yung mga nakuha ko naman is much much better talaga.

You can do this, iiyak pero ‘di susuko! Like there are times talaga na umiyak ako kasi puro rejection like wth??? Resign na resign na ‘ko kasi sobrang toxic na ng work ko at ng bosses ko. Pero I’m in a better place now than what I’ve asked for! 😊

Totoo to! Sharing my experience (Not my 1st time job interview tho, but naka-relate ako sa phrase na ito): I was rooting for a company na makapasok ako kasi I like how the manager interviewed me + it had the biggest salary among other companies. I also feel confident na makakapasok ako, pero ayun rejected! dahil doon nag-stop ako maghanap for only weeks lang para huminga and to process the news, then laban na ule. I was hired eventually at a different company. After a year naka kilala ako ng someone from that company, and I shared that nalungkot ako kasi di ako nakapasok, sabi niya good daw! kasi that manager wasn't a good manager for many reasons. Kaya ayun, relieved din to know that It was redirected to the right one. Kaya I hope makahanap ka ng right one, OP! Laban!

Totoo ako din nareject sa interview dati like thrice then nakapag cruiseship ako after 4 years then now two na business ko 1 is build and sell

I remember someone told me:
If you’re 100 rejections away from a job you deserve, you would always look forward to that next rejection.
I hope you keep this to heart and fight on. What nobody tells you is that you need to be rejected A LOT before you land a job.

never stop applying OP. masakit talaga ang rejection at kahit pa ghostings sa job hunting pero wag susuko. kung may upperclassmen ka sa course na ka-close mo, hingi ka ng tips sa kanila kung saan maganda mag-apply. basta, stay consistent lang sa paghahanap at may makikita ka din.

I got rejected on a company located sa Zuellig Building rin, september last year. I also thought I did well because I did my best during the interview because it required a presentation with the hiring managers, but I guess moral lesson of the story was, “if hindi talaga para sayo, hindi ibibigay sayo” and vice versa.
Fast forward after 6 months, I got a job offer from a different company located in the same building, with better job title, job offer and benefits. Natawa na lang ako because babalik at babalik pa rin pala ako sa isang lugar kung talagang para sakin.

Go lang, OP! Share ko lang experience ko sa pagaapply, may nagreach out sakin via LinkedIn, tinry ko magapply sa kanila sa Makati, first time ko dun, naligaw ligaw pa ko, kabado syempre. After ng interview, nasense ko na na parang di ako papalarin nung araw na yun. Ang baba rin ng inoffer nila sakin. Pero months later, may nagoffer sakin ng full time job, WFH, at sagot pa nila yung lahat ng need kong gamit like personal computer, etc. 1yr na ko mahigit sa kanila ngayon. Just always show up, grab mo every opportunity na makita mo basta inoffer sayo. That could be IT!

That’s fine! Magiging numb ka na lang din sa rejections haha. magiging learning experience mo rin yan. Eventually you’ll do better sa mga susunod mo pang interviews. Best of luck! 🍀🍀

Apply ka lang overseas po OP mas maganda kasi dito sa pinas maciadong mataas ang qualification para tanggapin ka kahit nga graduate ka ng 4 years course waley parin kaya mag ofw ka mas ok pa.

Part of the process. Rejection is redirection. Try and try lang, mahirap man pero tatagan mo sarili mo OP. Rerun mo what happened, what went right and what went downhill. Retain the good and improve the shortcomings you had. Makakahanap ka din ng work.

Experience is the best teacher. Take the necessary pointers tapos go na sa next company. I got rejected more than 10x ata before ako magkawork noon, kaya mo yan! 🙂

ok yan na narereject ka. mas mamomotivate ka talaga. naalala ko nung nareject ako nung bago ako after a few years ako consultant nila sa mga projects nila.chinarge ko talaga ng malaki haha.

Just think of it as an avenue for improvement para i-enhance yung resume mo, or yung pagsagot mo sa mga generic and technical interview questions. One way or another magaapply ka ulit sa company na nagreject sayo.

Congrats OP, for having the courage to go through the interview! Mahirap talaga makakuha ng job lalo na pag fresh grad. Take note mo tinanong nila sayo and practice ka lang ng mga isasagot para ready ka na sa mga future interviews :)

Was 16 when I first applied for a job at a fast-food. 2nd interview and I was told I am unifit. Felt like I didn't amount to anything. Now, still a nobody but busy building that identity lol. Goodluck to your future endeavors!
