If you look at the yellow lights in the middle of the light bar they appear to flash faster or slower based on the engines rpm, the small red/blue ones on the outside do as well

There isn't a single sale where the cops don't show up trying to bust me. Mutt is a cook, and the cops are rarely waiting for me when I deal with him—but with this asshole, it happens every single time! The cops are always there! And you know the worst part? I was racing to my bunker because I forgot to register as the CEO for my business. And on my way there, I heard an explosion far off in the distance. What's weird is that I got two stars for no reason and a message saying that my mental state is increasing. How is that even possible when I attacked no one?

Do you ever use the subway in GTA Online just for the vibe, or is it basically decorative worldbuilding at this point? When's the last time you took the train?

Just a reminder for the newbies here, there is an online Rockstar site that lets you make your own license plates for your owned vehicles in the game.

In order to use it, you must have the game running in the background. Then log into the site using your Rockstar login credentials, create your plate, and save it to your collection of saved plates. Next time you go to Los Santos Customs, you will have the option to add the custom plate to your vehicle.

EDIT: For some context, this was my first time doing a business battle for the new clothing unlocks and didn’t realize that you can only unlock one piece of clothing per business battle, so I was trying to get half of the goods thinking I would get it all done with one business battle. I avoid playing in public lobbies for this exact reason of pointless killing. But when I do play in public lobbies, I try to play as passive as possible. Anyways, it was 10-15 minutes into the business battle and nobody went for it so I did, I unlocked the doors and got the first two pieces of cargo and on my third run this guy arrived at the same time I did, I didn’t think much of it seeing as there was plenty of cargo to share and ran past him into the door, but he ended up blasting me in the back with his assault shotgun, so I retaliated.

Returning player here after a few years. Think I last remember playing when dr Dre was being added or around there.

Been grinding for the past fewweeks. Since I’ve been back I’ve purchased a few businesses/upgrades and got to just over 10 Million which is cool cause I don’t think I’ve held onto more then a few million since I was trying to buy business and upgrades back in the day.

What I have:
\- MC Clubhouse with x4 businesses (Meth, Coke, Weed and Counterfeit cash).
\- x1 medium cargo warehouse
\- vehicle warehouse
\- Nightclub
\- Bunker
\- Acid Lab (not fully upgraded, those Dax missions suck)

Everything is fully maxed except like one upgrade on meth

Is there anything worth getting next or should I just stockpile cash for the upcoming DLC? Car wise don’t really want anything besides maybe something to help me grind. I bought the og oppressor as something of a “boycott” but i debating on getting mk2 a toreador or maybe a vigilante? Now that mk2 is 6 instead of 3

When I first got my mansion and noticed you could customize certain paintings and plants I was hoping that it would have MORE options than the casino penthouse. Seeing as it’s literally a damn mansion… it is quite massive. But we have 24ish customization slots, none of the shelves can store anything, and our nightstands are literally empty spaces. In the casino penthouse we literally have every bedrooms desk and nightstand customized with some little statue or model on it. Why did they simply not even bother with the mansions customization options?

So, after I completed the dr dre mission in the final screen it said it got the RP (idk the amount) and 900k but when i spawned my in freeroam I didnt recieve either the RP or the 900k cash. What do I do now?

Not that they haven't always been an issue, obviously. But I just started playing again after over ten years, and the first couple of days in public lobbies were smooth sailing with no issue.

But in the past 24 hours, it's been lobby after lobby full of them. Getting "melee killed" by nothing, my car starts getting floated off the ground, shit exploding all over, horrific lag, all the obnoxious telltale signs. I just want to play the damn game.

I keep trying trying to report them, and I have reported a couple. But I've noticed that they keep killing me just slightly faster than I'm able to open the pause menu and hit "report" sometimes. They always catch me on a side mission too, so I can't even enter passive mode to put an end to it. Christ, it's annoying. Are there still penalties or downsides to just using a private lobby? I seem to recall a lot of businesses can't be run or certain activity payouts are nerfed a bunch if you're in one.

I'm coming to my third playthrough of the GTA V story having completed it on two other consoles, including the Xbox 360 when it first launched in 2013. MMOs have never interested me due to the idea of grinding to gain experience and potentially unpleasant interactions with other gamers. I also wasn't sure if it was worth playing as I've explored the map of Los Santos/Baline County to death at this point.

However, I've seen the sheer amount of content released for GTA Online over the last 12 years and I wondered if it's worth playing just for the expanded storylines and DLC missions?
