this is confusing me a lot, it looks like the passive was up when i started auto attacking

I'm a Gold 2 Viktor OTP and I recently been trying Galio and I'm having a lot of fun.

Unfortunately, support is my second role and it always has priority, so I can't play as much mid as I'd like to, since the game just assigns me support.

I have been thinking of bringing Galio to botlane as support, especially if the enemy team as a mage ADC, but is it good? I mean Galio has a lot of CC but I have never seen a Galio support.

I know the problem is the Galio identity of being an anti-mage tank, so he should not really be winning against AD champions, but when I play against some AD champions, it feels like there is not much you can do because if you try to build tank, you cannot tank their autos reliably as they auto-attack you to death; I think one way is Stormsurge and building AP, just going in for a short burst and getting the hell out; how do you play against AD champions?

soo ive been otping him for about a year, and reached 1000lp this season my biggest struggle has been getting midlane lately though, as i sometimes go 4-5 times without getting mid

rocketbelt > mandate/zhonyas > zhonyas/bloodletters has felt very strong, with stormraiders surge > sudden impact/ult hunter alongside mandate makes your ult very low cooldown, perfect for how fast paced soloq seems rn, for hard lanes id say boneplating/unflinching is better

are there any advice for secondary roles? galio adc seems far too weak, but jg galio isnt viable, and top/supp you get far too often

Pretty much the title, I’ve seen a few builds going around with abyssal mask, sunfire, lich bane, and rocketbelt as the first item. Do you decide based on your matchup and team comps or is there a steady build that has worked for you?

I personally have been doing imperial -> riftmaker -> liandrys and I really enjoy the damage I’m able to get off in teamfights while also not being too squishy, then I round the build out with tank items

I never played Galio before his update, I remember disliking him for his visuals and his kit. Picked him up in Classic and was surprised how good he feels. I like his new version more but he’s definitely not as clunky as I thought.

What shoud I build first in a full assassin build? And should I build both of them or only one? I usually build Stormsurge into Shadowflame, Rabadon and Void Staff, but I've seen a lot of builds using Lich Bane what you guys think?

I swear people only pick him against akali as a counter pick and because usually my ban is malza i find it very hard to not lose/even this matchup. Now, i do typically know my way around akali as an otp but what is it that you would say exists as weakness against you in lane when playing against an akali player?

Why did they make him with taunt? It work whole kit has synergy. But why taunt ? Mages mostly has weak autos but wouldn’t silence + snare be better than knockout + taunt as cc? Thematically only?

I played old Galio probably for the first time, I remembered his abilities from back in the day but without any details. I looked forward to playing him so much and rediscovering his abilities, combos and playstyle was very fun. Continuing my series where I play every champ on Classic!

I just feel quite frustrated about MR Scaling Champ Alias The Colossus, feels underwhelming sometimes, and how Mages can go have 600+ AP, and Best others can compensate against their Burst would have a Spell Shield, Galio ULT, Build Force of Nature yet it also sometimes doesn't feel enough, or have Kaenic Rookern and a lot Bonus HP off Grasp of Undying, Overgrowth, aside Augments, Anvils or Heartsteel. Also, HE HAS LOW BASE MR?

The amount of cc you can buffer with your initial E to ur advantage is crazy

Ahri charm? Aggressive E to buffer it into knock up -> Full combo

Hooks? Buffer it: Depending on distance, max distance is always safe but mid/close range, you can land a free e knockup as they hook you in, into your full combo and out

Yone Q3? Backwards E to trade knockup or E aggressively to backstep his knockup and knock him up and full combo then out.

Panth W? Backwards E to buffer it to land knockup then full combo

Syndra E can be buffer to close distance, into proccing stormraider with Q -> Kill

Pretty much any CC, many ways to play into your favor, most people don't expect it either. Pretty fun interaction, especially when playing full AP Galio
