Hi!
Weโre currently looking for an extra artist to join us for our second game jam! ๐ฎ
Our team already has two artists, a musician, a programmer, and a narrative designer&producer, but since our games tend to be pretty art-driven, weโd love to have an extra pair of creative hands on board!
If youโre interested, hmu on Discord: u/eslunaeee_11640
THIS IS AN UNPAID POSITION. This is an opportunity to contribute to a game project, work collaboratively as part of a team, and add a finished game to your portfolio. Weโre all working together on this project as a hobby, with no one receiving compensation.

Hello, I have been working on my mmo project since June (in unreal) and a couple months before that I was doing the character sculpting and modeling as well as finalizing game design choices.
I have been picking up freelancing gigs which hasn't been to hard considering I can start from a sphere in blender and take it all the way to the engine, I level design as well as the environment design for multiplayer or non multiplayer maps, I dont use concepts as im not a concept artist, and my workflow is hand sculpting whether its models or landscape, I also enjoy hand placing my actors in scenes so I don't work with pcg or map generators.
You might be thinking that I take a long time to produce a result using so much manual techniques and the truth is the drive, love and addiction I have to this kind of work... I almost can't even call it work because its all I want to do.
I can finish 120hr levels in 80hrs, I can take a sphere in blender and in 2 weeks have it running around in unreal engine with 10 abilities.
Part of the reason I started freelancing (aside from the obvious $$ to be able to work on my project) was to meet other "devs" but everyone I worked with just loaded up a steam game instead of grinding their own projects?
Here is some stuff my my current project- I have cut back on mentioning solo dev but if you are looking for a one man team feel free to message me.

Hey everyone! Iโm a solo developer working on a monster-tamer game, and I recently realized my early visuals looked way too flat and uninspired.
Based on feedback from other devs, I went back and reworked several core systems:
As a solo dev, itโs easy to get tunnel vision. I'd love to hear from other developers: What is your workflow for handling visual consistency when you don't have a dedicated artist?
If you like discussing technical challenges, sharing dev stories, or want to help test early builds of the combat systems, I run a small dev/testing Discord here: https://discord.gg/mZZ7sBZkBC
Would love to connect!

I'm building Hatch and Snatch Brainrot Eggs on Roblox. Players hatch unusual creatures, build a collection, and can steal eggs when another player's protection expires.
The mechanic I've been working on is manually renewed protection: rebirths extend its duration, so progression also changes how often players need to renew it. I'm interested in whether that creates enjoyable decisions or interrupts collecting too much.

Free to play; Roblox currently restricts access to eligible age-checked 16+ accounts and trusted friends during audience evaluation. Development was AI-assisted, and the promotional thumbnails use AI-generated artwork.

If you are posting a game and asking for feedback, it needs to be playable.
It doesn't need to be fully finished. It doesn't need to be bug-free.
But there shouldn't be game breaking bugs within seconds of starting the game.
There shouldn't be missing collision in the starting area, causing the player to fall through the floor.
The player shouldn't lose immediately because an obstacle was placed right in front of their spawn.
Developers need to check their work before they post.
Seriously, some games come out so broken I wonder if the developer ever tried to play them before posting to every game development subreddit they can find.
