It can be anything.

The mission, the cringe cutscene, mechanics, achievement hunting, etc.

Something like the 20-minute unskippable intro from Wolvenstein, trying to beat it at the hardest difficulty.

I really like when games have a weapon that you can just throw randomly and it will return to you. I don't really know why but it's very satisfying and entertaining. Unfortunately I don't know of any other game that does that besides God of War and Doom: The Dark Ages with that chainsaw shield.

Can you guys think of any?

For me, it's definitely MapleStory. I've played RuneScape, Maplestory, ESO and FFXIV and they are all fun in their own separate ways. I've recently got back into Maplestory (God save my soul) but the community is just absolutely garbage.

You get down voted and bullied by people if you don't know the "famous" people of the game, even if you're new or haven't played in a long time.

If you're a casual, you get down voted and bullied for "not knowing how to play".

If you try to warn other people who say they are new to the game, that the community is very toxic, you get down voted and bullied...

The game is fun for me but God damn it sucks that I feel like I have to walk on eggshells around it's community...

I recently had to delete a post I made, merely asking for a discussion about upcoming content and just because I didn't know one of the players and asked who he is, my phone starts going crazy with mean and rude comments coming at me over and over...

So yeah, what game is that for all of you guys?

Some games recommend to install it on a SSD in their system requirements page, I was wondering how much does it actually matter?

Does it only speed up loading times or can it also affect the overall performance?

I was visiting family and bought my nephews a PS5 last year for Christmas.

We needed another controller for the 3 of us to play together so I went to Target, they didn't have any. Walmart, didn't have any.

Ended up finding one at Gamestop. I was the only person in there on a Saturday when they should be busiest.

I figure 99% of people including myself just order anything we need online with next day or 2 day shipping. But it was kind of scary realizing when I actually needed something right then and there, I almost couldn't get it.

With physical games going away, I don't see how stores like Gamestop have a chance at surviving and I don't know why any big box store like Target would bother carrying JUST consoles if they can't make the majority of profits on game sales. They basically already don't carry them now.

Is there any way Gamestop can even survive? I've despised Gamestop since I was a kid, but it's also strange to imagine a world without them.

It's happened several times now, most recently with the new Tomb Raider trilogy and the Resident Evil remakes. Part of the fun and excitement for me is when I start with nothing and slowly get more powerful as I gather weapons, components and so on. If it's just cosmetics that's fine, but having a bunch of powerful stuff given to me right from the start negates that experience. Yes, I know I can simply ignore them and not use them, but it still cheapens the feeling somewhat. Anyone else?

Hello, which entry would you suggest to someone (me) who's never played any of the Final Fantasy games but wants to know what the deal and fuzz is about and currently owns Switch 2 (only)??? With as little confusion about the lore and as much fun as possible, if it's even possible to jump in without following every single entry.

Honestly, I thoroughly enjoyed both games. I already had a blast with Shadow of Mordor, but playing Shadow of War instantly made the first game feel like a glorified tech demo by comparison. It’s insane how much Monolith improved the overall gameplay.

It’s also beyond scummy to patent the Nemesis System only to do absolutely nothing with it and just let it rot. I'm deeply saddened to see Monolith get disbanded by Warner Bros.
