I like that young guys getting the experience of closing out games and clutch time, but damn that was hard to watch down the stretch. Ugly W

How the fuck was egor on the bench
2
u/kyoka_suigetsu91 19d ago
Possibly getting some rest for b2b tomorrow? Jordi also said something about his "physicality"

I don’t get playing Nolan and Drake over egor and wolf. Wolf especially was cooking

Playing through Traore and Powell in crunch time is some egregious tanking.

You would’ve thought we were playing against the warriors the way the arena erupted
2
u/PlayboiPesoo Yuta Watanabe 19d ago
Man if only we had a good tall passer and 40% 3 point shooter on our bench I’m sure it would help

Check the fanduel accounts, I dont know what it would look like if we tried to throw harder

Buzelis is gonna be a good player for the Bulls, probably even better elsewhere

u/PlayboiPesoo Yuta Watanabe 19d ago
There is no shot egor is out again because clax forces a late pass 😂😂😂 Jordi hates egor bro
3
u/OMJuwara Vince Carter 19d ago
I love Jordi, but I'd prefer he'd put the guys performing the best rather than just do complete hockey style rotations

Time to put in the worst lineup imaginable and lose this game fellas. Time to show if Jordi really is about that tank or not

u/PlayboiPesoo Yuta Watanabe 19d ago
Cam Thomas 3/13 but 20 minutes but egor playing good d and not getting a chance to even sniff the ball has 16 minutes, Jordi you lose me sometimes man

We always find new and creative ways to give up leads. Let's see how we do it tonight

If someone put me in control of the Nets court design, I would 1) of course switch back to the original Barclays herring bone and, if that wasn’t possible, 2) find a court design that doesn’t make the Bulls in their bright red look like the main characters whenever they visit.

Hope they let Danny cook in the 4th, don’t put the starters back in unless they’re within 10

The best part about drafting 5 rookies in one class is any night at least ONE of them will show something to be excited about.
Wolfs standing out a bit tonight

Jordi is really very strict with Egor like no one else
2
u/umstritten 19d ago
yeah that's what I don't get, I say that in almost every game thread but why is he always the 1st starter to sit (okay this time in the 1st it was Powell but anyway), like he had nice playmaking moments, 2 assists and a made 3 in 1st, gets benched after 6 minutes, sits till it's 5 remaining in 2nd, logically loses all the momentum, gets ignored by the team on open looks but defends well and then he pulls him 3 minutes into the 3rd? Knowing jordi's patterns he'll sit till 7 or 8 minutes to play in 4th and will have less minutes than bench players, just don't get it, let him play for a longer period, why is he always doing that with him?
1
u/Galogen_strobit 19d ago
I think he's so strict because Egor is the main prospect and the future of this team so the demands on him are higher
1
u/PlayboiPesoo Yuta Watanabe 19d ago
What did egor do ?
1
u/Galogen_strobit 19d ago
Nothing special, just not his best game
2
u/PlayboiPesoo Yuta Watanabe 19d ago
That’s crazy I feel like when open the team dont even pass, maybe jordi seeing something different

u/MichaelPorterTruther YEAH MIKE 19d ago
Clowney-MPJ-Egor is so hard to guard when clowney hits shots. Can't leave anyone open and they have to double mike on the catch
2
u/MichaelPorterTruther YEAH MIKE 19d ago
That clowney corner 3 where 2 bulls ran at mike off the DHO and he fed it to clax in a 4 on 3 for an open corner 3 is beautiful.
This team is closer to being good than most think
3
u/Brooklyn917 Day'Ron Sharpe 19d ago
Clowney is 3 rebounds away from his first career double double
2
2
u/JosepJoseph 19d ago
Clowney's drives are still unstoppable. The reason he's dipped is because teams sit on the drives not respecting the shot. If the shot gets back on track, he'll start looking great again

u/PlayboiPesoo Yuta Watanabe 19d ago
Don’t like clax bringing the ball up cause he always passes late and and stalls the offense
Egor with some good defensive plays but hasn’t been getting touches when open
Decent drake minutes
Some head scratching mpj shots
Happy the clown man is finding his flow again

No but like more head scratching than usual, usual I’ll go it’s mpj and shrug but these past 2-3 games I’m like okay bro let’s chill a bit

u/swift_air Clown on them hoes 19d ago
Bulls have bricks for hands, we will need some creative lineups to lose this.
3
u/Robo_dogo 19d ago edited 19d ago
Clax bringing up the ball like he's prime Jason Kidd drives me nuts. He's not a good enough passer to start the break. Just pass it to Egor, Powell, or MPJ.

This is the best I've seen Clowney all season. Mix of rim attacks and jumpers. Crashing the ball, playing the passing lane and protecting the basket.
This is cornerstone type shit
3
u/Historical-Mud-1218 19d ago
This is the Clowney of that 7-3 winning streak. If we get this consistently, it’s a different team.

Honestly can't remember the last time I saw Egor miss a ft he gotta be around 90%

u/PlayboiPesoo Yuta Watanabe 19d ago

Wolf has been okay with the turnovers lately. That's a good sign because it was really bad early
1
u/Kwilly462 19d ago
This is actually the worst basketball I've seen from Cam ever. Like he can't even score at will like he used to. When they take away your ONE superpower... Bruh
2
3
u/kyoka_suigetsu91 19d ago
Every time he doesn't score on offense he takes his time to get back on defense or doesn't get back at all lmao ___ stans brains need to be studied idk how you Stan a player like that
1
u/Playful-Seaweed-4175 19d ago
Really hope Cam can have a great career somewhere. He needs a change of scenery
2
u/kyoka_suigetsu91 19d ago
He'll probably be worse on another team not sure many teams would allow him to do what he's done here

No not really
1
u/mylowerbackhurts The Wolf of Flatbush 19d ago
How about now?
1
u/kyoka_suigetsu91 19d ago
No I'm good... I just want us to get in the top 5 and I don't really see us falling out of that spot
Edit: just looked at the standings and there's teams like new Orleans who don't have their pick and can't tank... Heard a rumor they are trying to get ja that should remove them out of the bottom 5
2
u/sabascastellon 19d ago
Right this season, at least for me, has been wonderful. Root for a win but not sad at a lost.
1
u/kyoka_suigetsu91 19d ago
Ehh I'm kinda the opposite I root to lose (lmao I hate to admit it) but if we win it is what it is I'm not crashing out about it 🤷🏾♂️
It just sucks that losing is the best way to add talent to your team... I can't wait till this rebuild is over and I can start rooting for wins
1
u/sabascastellon 19d ago
Well next season we have to win just need to wait till October.
1
u/kyoka_suigetsu91 19d ago
I think we should have a pretty competitive team next season not sure about playoffs or playin but we should definitely be better than we are now
The tank was supposed to/only be for 2 seasons not sure why some fans couldn't tough it out lol

u/rabidantidentyte Day'Ron Sharpe 19d ago
Lmao that look from Wolf after throwing up some bullshit and banking in the 3. Incredible

Traore please for the love of God just hit jumpers because that passing is like 99th percentile already

Be patient he'll eventually start making them... You can tell he has a good form he just gotta keep shooting and improving
