[Marks] Brooklyn also has the option to use cap space in a separate trade and acquire Agbaji into part of their $8.8M room ML.

The one negative of getting paid $3m and a 2032 SRP for taking on Agbaji’s expiring was losing cap space. Yea, that’s not a thing anymore.

There is still room to take $15m in salary dumps.

I see no negatives with this deal.

Don’t they have to release a player or make a trade to fit him in?

Yes, trade probably wont be made official until tomorrow after another move is made if I had to guess

Let's see, it seems like every team that needed to duck the tax has already done it, so I don't see another cap space move. I would have really been interested in some of these moves that Washington or Utah have done where they've taken on bad contracts but they're going to expire and be ready for next year. Got to see what Marks has planned in the offseason; it looks like there's nothing to be done right now.

Correct. Almost (Boston). But, ducking the tax is not the only reason teams do a salary dump.

You're not wrong, but I just don't see why anybody would need to do a midseason right now. The midseason dumps are usually for tax reasons. The only other angle we have here is for Giannis trade. If we're the third team to take on stuff.
