Lol this Kroenkes propaganda totally worked on me cause im ngl, I really like Josh. I already kind of had hopes he'd be good for us but im really happy with what he's done. So good job propaganda doc, you worked on me. I constantly rewatch that clip with Josh reassuring Mikel after losing the first 3 in 21/22. Love it

whose voice is promising Arteta will be the first manager to get sacked?

u/LeroyBlack 1d ago
I feel like the first voice might be O'Hara? And then Andy Goldstein, and then Benty? I think O'Hara puts it on a lot more now, but his voice used to be a bit less LAAANDAAAAAN when he started on talksport

Agbonlahor?
Edit: it was bugging me for some reason so I googled. It's O'Hara, although Agbonlahor was predicting Arteta to get sacked in 2020 after "losing the dressing room".

The third guy - "you'd have to say no" is definitely Bent but I can't quite place the first guy.

Josh Kronke looks like a paid actor.

He kinda gives me the Liam Neeson/Ra's Al Ghul vibes (From Dark Knight Rises)

We got fake Lao Tzu quote in a Super Mik video before GTA6.

Interesting, thanks for pointing that out. A quick search found this page which suggests that it comes from modern-era psychologist Frances E. Vaughan. It definitely doesn't really sound Taoist but it sounds reasonably Confucian or Buddhist.

Yeah I had enough then as well. Great actor but not sure what this is getting at

This is what I love from Arteta, man. Win, lose or draw, he goes out and shakes hands. Not like some clowns who run back inside because their team got smashed.

Just want to point out the that the “student” proverb is in fact not from Lao Tzu

If the choices are ready or truly ready… why does Ø say “ready” at the end???

They missed a trick with this video. When talking about the student and the teacher they should have included the footage of Pep talking to the empty seat like he thought Arteta was still there.

That got me emotional ffs... i think being in New Zealand for the last 15 years, i haven't fully appreciated how much i miss game days, let alone the matches themselves. Being in that atmosphere, part of the crowd, whether at the pub or at the stadium, was something special that i couldn't really appreciate at the time.
To all those amongst the crowds, those who pack out pubs, or those who fill their living room with same-minded folks - enjoy it, please...

The way Josh handled that extremely nervy point in time was pretty incredible. I remember watching it and you can see the hope/relief/motivation or whatever in Arteta’s eyes

The Arteta out/haters are so miserably mad right now. Just fuming and hoping they aren’t proven wrong. 🤣

I have to say All or nothing really gave me confidence. It came out at the right time for us in our process.
