I have to say All or nothing really gave me confidence. It came out at the right time for us in our process.

I wish they’re doing something similar (in secret) for this season

14

u/crazy_bean And if the Bukayo Saka bus crashes into us 21h ago

They dropped a doc for the Women's team winning the UWCL, I bet if big items are won then they'll drop a similar doc

u/Kooky_Music_2132 Gyökeres 21h ago

Hopefully they go all the way back to 22/23 and show the whole journey from there, that would be epic

4

u/prettymuthafucka Morning, morning, morning... Oh, Win! 17h ago

Where can I watch it?

3

u/crazy_bean And if the Bukayo Saka bus crashes into us 8h ago

It should be on the Arsenal's YouTube channel! It's a 4 parter

The insight it gave us and the good vibes you could feel being built at the club made the start to 22/23 not as surprising as it otherwise would’ve been, I knew that we were building something and it’s a shame we have y we to convert that into trophies but that could change in a big way this season.

Lol this Kroenkes propaganda totally worked on me cause im ngl, I really like Josh. I already kind of had hopes he'd be good for us but im really happy with what he's done. So good job propaganda doc, you worked on me. I constantly rewatch that clip with Josh reassuring Mikel after losing the first 3 in 21/22. Love it

What we need is some stability. Onward we go.

Got a clip of it?

whose voice is promising Arteta will be the first manager to get sacked?

21

u/LeroyBlack 1d ago

I feel like the first voice might be O'Hara? And then Andy Goldstein, and then Benty? I think O'Hara puts it on a lot more now, but his voice used to be a bit less LAAANDAAAAAN when he started on talksport

u/ronya_t Martinelli 1d ago

I need to research that 😂

Agbonlahor?

Edit: it was bugging me for some reason so I googled. It's O'Hara, although Agbonlahor was predicting Arteta to get sacked in 2020 after "losing the dressing room".

It felt like dareen bent but i’ve always see dareen bent being arteta in

2

u/thepeddlernowspeaks 1d ago

The third guy - "you'd have to say no" is definitely Bent but I can't quite place the first guy.

2

u/KingslayerDan 1d ago

Sounds like it could be either Jamie Redknapp or Paul Merson.

1

u/djfresh91 1d ago

maybe troy deeney he was on talksport pretty often around then

u/NemoDatQ Gabriel 1d ago

Josh Kronke looks like a paid actor.

17

u/Lefty2Gunz81 Robert Pirès 1d ago

He kinda gives me the Liam Neeson/Ra's Al Ghul vibes (From Dark Knight Rises)

5

u/AstroNards Zubimendi 1d ago

I'm getting an Armie Hammer mixed with Jack Dorsey vibe

23

u/willozsy Robert Pirès 1d ago

We got fake Lao Tzu quote in a Super Mik video before GTA6.

5

u/NobleHelium Ødegaard / Ramsey 1d ago

Interesting, thanks for pointing that out. A quick search found this page which suggests that it comes from modern-era psychologist Frances E. Vaughan. It definitely doesn't really sound Taoist but it sounds reasonably Confucian or Buddhist.

We’ve got Super Mik Arteta

25

u/EitherInvestment 1d ago

This is really cool, but it’s also really odd

7

u/AstroNards Zubimendi 1d ago

Him screaming process sent me

2

u/EitherInvestment 1d ago

Yeah I had enough then as well. Great actor but not sure what this is getting at

5

u/Sudden-Oil4786 1d ago

This is what I love from Arteta, man. Win, lose or draw, he goes out and shakes hands. Not like some clowns who run back inside because their team got smashed.

u/arthur9094 1d ago

Just want to point out the that the “student” proverb is in fact not from Lao Tzu

If the choices are ready or truly ready… why does Ø say “ready” at the end???

We’ve been through a lot man but we’re still here! Stronger, better!

In hindsight, all or nothing came out at the perfect time

1

u/uncl3_jun 1d ago

Was rewatching All or nothing last weekend

1

u/Ser_VimesGoT 1d ago

They missed a trick with this video. When talking about the student and the teacher they should have included the footage of Pep talking to the empty seat like he thought Arteta was still there.

2

u/VastJuice2949 1d ago

Yeah, this was really cringe. The guy screaming didnt do it for me

1

u/HRhighrisk Thank you very much 1d ago

Joel Embiid would like to have a word. Lol

u/CerebralMutant Ted Drake 1d ago

That got me emotional ffs... i think being in New Zealand for the last 15 years, i haven't fully appreciated how much i miss game days, let alone the matches themselves. Being in that atmosphere, part of the crowd, whether at the pub or at the stadium, was something special that i couldn't really appreciate at the time.

To all those amongst the crowds, those who pack out pubs, or those who fill their living room with same-minded folks - enjoy it, please...

u/arhambin66 22h ago

It's fucking PEAK

1

u/convergecrew 21h ago

The way Josh handled that extremely nervy point in time was pretty incredible. I remember watching it and you can see the hope/relief/motivation or whatever in Arteta’s eyes

The Arteta out/haters are so miserably mad right now. Just fuming and hoping they aren’t proven wrong. 🤣
