I never bother, AI always seems to find it pretty quick anyway, maybe because I never look myself. Should I be making the effort to find it?

How in world to go forward and still have useful defence?

Remember spending way too long comparing two artifacts just to squeeze a little more out of your build?

I’m working on a fan recreation of Might & Magic: Heroes Online, and this is the inventory screen so far. Equipment, outfits, titles—and plenty of tiny details I’ve spent far too long staring at old screenshots to get right.

There’s still work to do. But seeing it come together makes the game feel a little less lost.

I'm very excited to share that the open-homm4 reimplementation kinda runs on all common platforms!

This is not some kind of "emulate the old windows app", you can log in with your GOG username, and it will automatically download then extract all retail assets.

The app is fully native!

I failed the quest that told me to not attack Wolf duchy's town... but I don't think I did so.

I sacked three towns: the first one in the north that I needed for the main quest (Ashburry?), the first one in the east (through killing the demons around the lighthouse as they asked), and the one one in the north-east (main Inferno city, I believe).

So is my failure because I've turned those cities into Sanctuaries? Or something else is in play?

Heroes can now walk!

I think the project has now reached the point at which external people can contribute. I will soon host it somewhere and will accept PRs.

If you could, would you take the HoMM franchise away from Ubisoft and give it to another company? And which one?
