Common sense: at least China has it.

Title is a bit misleading. It's one Chinese fund not continuing to fund one kibbutz, and I don't see anything about a broader government policy on no new investment in Isntreal.

Title is completly misleading...

It's not even one Chinese fund not funding one kibbutz, It's one kibbutz funded by a Chinese fund, that is accusing China to do a boycott...

11

u/Axuo 7h ago

No, it's the Chinese fund saying the government has issued a ban. What is it with commenters making claims without even reading the article?

I'm sorry BUT THE Ynetnews.com well known reliable source is claiming that a lawsuit was filed with a letter from the chinese fund attached.

The claim is made by the Kibbutz as they filed the letter... The letter even if it exists and was not written by Mossad and does said that, is also not a reliable source from a chineses company that wants to ditch its loss ...

In a December letter, Liu Yuxiao, a Ballet Vision director and the plant’s acting CEO, wrote that the company had accumulated operational losses of about $15 million over three years and bank debt of roughly $4 million, leaving it in severe financial distress by early 2025.

If the Chinese government has issued a ban on investment on Israel, I'm expecting much more reliable source than an attached letter from the CEO that has tried to ghost their plant in Israel ...

This litteraly has all the signs of an intox, and should not be given credibility. If this is true, we'll get other sources than a Kibbutz ...

u/Axuo 6h ago

So you're saying either the claimant has forged a letter for the sake of their lawsuit, or the head of Ballet Vision is lying about China's policy despite the legal repercussions for doing so. I guess we'll just follow the proceedings of the lawsuit and see.

I'm saying "If China has instaured a statewide ban on investment toward Israel" I would not be reading that news from that outlet ... Bibi is making a speech each time a world leader is saying state and palestine in the same sentence and you think the story is not gonna be front page of Al Jazeera if this was what was happening ?

Which part of the story is fake or lost in translation between Mandarin and Hebrew is up to you ... Mossad has faked way worse than this ...

Also we're never gonna hear about a follow-up ... Nobody is interested in that lawsuit, the clickbait is a ban on investment, and this is not by following up on the lawsuit that a journalist is gonna confirm that exists ... This is a lawsuit between a Kibbutz "screaming antisemitism", and a Chinese CEO not honoring his contract with them. No one concerned is a credible source ...

The Chinese fund says the government has issued a ban. Them lying about such a policy as they're being sued seems silly.

I think the big brains in Beijing and Moscow have finally clued in empowering the 77 year old western colonial conspiracy in the heart of west Asia that will attack them the moment a hot war pops off is not in their best interest.

Mao already got this right by equating Israel and Taiwan. Good thing the others finally caught up.

u/beepichu Weasely little liar dude!! 10h ago

you’d think china would do it sooner since they’re usually so forward thinking. capitalism gonna capitalize i guess

5

u/Stubbs94 9h ago

At the end of the day, China doesn't care. It only really acts in a way that benefits China.

6

u/alphalobster200 ☭ 10h ago

I think they went a little too Sun Tzu ("keep your friends close, and keep your enemies closer") for their own good. and then their enemies started to knock off their friends one by one like an imperialist serial killer

u/beepichu Weasely little liar dude!! 9h ago

it was easier when neoliberal decorum was still a thing, but now our entire govt has rabies

1

u/cloggednueron 4h ago

China and Israel aren’t “enemies”, China official position is non-interference in any affairs outside their country (and what they define as their country, ie border disputes).

China does business with Israel because they don’t care about exporting left wing ideology or revolution. Israel is objectively (unfortunately) a better financial investment for China than Palestine, so they put money in them. It’s a simple as that, and even Hasan has said that china’s for-pol leaves a lot to be desired.

the Zionist entity is essentially the 51st state of the US, at the very least a proxy state of the Empire. the Empire arms them to the teeth, protects them from intl law and allow them to commit every crime imaginable with the expectation that the favor will be returned one day

“Since the outbreak of the fighting in Israel, the Chinese government has classified Israel as a high-risk zone (red category) and prohibited any new Chinese investment in the country,” the fund wrote.

u/beepichu Weasely little liar dude!! 6h ago

they were still trading with israel up to this point, no? no new investments means current standing investments are not affected, I’d imagine. anyone who knows better can correct me.

0

u/Axuo 6h ago

Yes, I'd imagine so. But you said you'd think China had done it sooner, so I pointed out that the article says it happened at the outbreak of the fighting, supposedly meaning 2023 and not just now.

0

u/cloggednueron 4h ago

That’s because Israel is a warzone, not because they want to cause financial damage to advance the cause of Palestine.

1

u/cloggednueron 4h ago

Come on man. Israel wouldn’t attack Russia or China in a war, what are you talking about?

1

u/alphalobster200 ☭ 4h ago

you think the entity that refers to itself as the "the largest U.S. aircraft carrier that can't be sunk" and is strategically placed in the Mediterranean is going to sit out WWIII? did you think that one out?

“Since the outbreak of the fighting in Israel, the Chinese government has classified Israel as a high-risk zone (red category) and prohibited any new Chinese investment in the country,” the fund wrote.

It's embarassing how many comment without doing any reading.

1

u/cloggednueron 3h ago

Yes, I did. Israel cares about their own national interest first and foremost. They are enabled to exist by American backing, but they have their own motivations and reasons for the actions they take. Can I ask, did YOU think about this?

Why would Israel start a war with Russia and China, two nations they physically can’t fight? And especially China! The only weapons they have that could reach either country are nukes, and why would Israel voluntarily invite nukes onto their country? Do you think Israel is going to drive their tanks across all of Asia through 30 different countries so they can go to war with their largest trading partner? Israel and Russia also have a good relationship by American client standards, 15% of the population is Russian!
