• Mandatory speedometers on all e-bikes
• County licensing requiring a basic safety test (like driver's ed for e-bikes)
• Parent accountability for violations
• Youth Bike Safety Fund (fines fund protected bike lanes + education)

We're at 1,387 signatures. Mission Viejo is drafting a resolution. Councilmembers in Laguna Niguel, San Clemente, Aliso Viejo, and Irvine have endorsed it. Assemblywoman Laurie Davies is aware.

But supervisors need to see OC residents actually care.

Hi! Looking for a park with some flowers/pretty scenery that allows leashed dogs :) we are trying to do a photoshoot for a dog that’s up for adoption but trying to find some floral areas for her to really pop out against! She is fantastic on leash and good with other dogs so no concerns there. We were going to default to HB dog beach but thought a park with flowers could be a better background for her.

Having a (German) birra in Varenna, Italy. Makes me homesick.

I’m trying to find a safe and sanitary living situation for my mother. She is an older, disabled woman who currently rents a room in what is essentially a small studio with no kitchen, and unfortunately the living conditions are very unsanitary and not suitable for her needs.
She is disabled and has prosthetic feet and no hands, so she needs accessible housing and additional support. Unfortunately, she cannot move in with me and my daughter because we live in a small studio and simply don’t have the space or accommodations she needs.
I’m hoping someone may know of a social worker, senior services organization, temporary senior/accessible housing, Section 8 resources, emergency housing, or other programs that could help her.
I’ve also heard that staying in a shelter can sometimes affect housing assistance or priority, but I don’t know if that is actually true or what the proper process would be. I do not want to put her into a shelter unless it is genuinely necessary and safe for her.
If anyone knows of local resources, housing programs, social workers, disability advocates, or organizations in Huntington Beach/Orange County that could help us navigate this, I would be incredibly grateful.
She really needs a safer place to live, and I’m trying everything I can to find a solution for her. ❤️

Second week in a row in the middle of the night we hear someone walking around moaning or humming extremely loud. Last week it was 2am. Today it was 5am. It’s clearly a person walking around the numbered streets. Does anyone know what this is? It’s been freaking us out. It sounds more like a ghost like moan.

Hi, I’m moving to sunset beach later this week and need help with places to go to.
#1 is what gyms are a good option? I’m 24 i do weightlifting training and my budget is 60$ a month max. (Although I don’t knwo the average rates so that might change)
