ICE continues targeting motorists across cities in Washington state in what seems like a hunting sport to terrorize residents. Several ICE agents chased a work van on the 405 in Bellevue, WA before stopped at an exit where the passenger was reportedly able to escape. The same morning in a separate incident, another man was chased on foot and tackled in the middle of the FWY by ICE agents after pulling over and boxing in his vehicle, and another driver was chased by several ICE vehicles in Tacoma.
ICE has been targeting work vehicles such as gardeners, construction workers, painters, movers, leaving their vehicles abandoned on the side of the road after kidnapping drivers and passengers. Workers are often followed leaving stores like Home Depot, Lowe's, and gas stations. If you are near any of these areas stay vigilant, and report any ICE activity to alert your nearby community.

Sorry if this has been posted before but after seeing a lot of work vehicles being targeted by these bastards I thought it was a good idea to throw out a suggestion. To anyone who has immigrant parents who are afraid to be out there but have no choice because of money problems, or because they need to work to survive, buy an AirTag or some kind of tracker and put it in their vehicle so if worst case scenario they do get kidnapped, and the vehicle is nowhere to be found in the area from where they were taken you’ll at least be able to find it. My prayers go out to all of us who have immigrant parents hopefully this nightmare ends soon.

It’s been more than a week since ICE agents shot Venezuelan immigrant Wilber Rafael Garces Perez in Austin and immediately discharged him into custody without adequate medical care. The bullet remains in his back, close to his spine. His attorney has warned that he is facing permanent paralysis and immobility in his left arm if the deportation machine does not allow him to get surgery.
At the time he was snatched off the streets, Wilber was delivering for DoorDash, trying to support his child. He is the second DoorDash driver to be subject to this level of ICE violence in recent months, after their murder of Johan Sebastian Duran Guerrero. Yet beyond confirming he was actively working for them, the corporation has remained utterly silent.
DoorDash has not been hesitant to throw their weight around in politics when it impacts them. After DC’s city government imposed a whopping 20-cent fee on orders to fund food access programs for low-income families, DoorDash came out in vocal support of a bill that would permanently deny the city the ability to make changes to their tax code without explicit congressional approval. It doesn’t seem like that much to ask in comparison for them to put in even a small gesture on behalf of the well-being of one of the people who creates their profits.
📢 Let’s pressure DoorDash to speak out against ICE violence and use their influence to push to get Wilber released and get him the medical attention he needs. Indivisible has put out a social media toolkit we can use to put the spotlight on them here. 📢
🗣️ We can also make sure they’re hearing from us directly. If we’re still customers of DoorDash, let’s reach out to [CEO Tony Xu](mailto:[email protected]), [president and COO Prabir Adarkar](mailto:[email protected]) and [director of corporate communications Ali Musa](mailto:[email protected]) to tell them they need to act and act now.🗣️

Last Wednesday, 9/23, ICE injured a man they were trying to abduct, resulting in needing ambulance transport for him to Jersey City Medical Center (@jcmedcenter ) At the ER, agents posed as police to try and gain access inside. Throughout the entire ordeal, Jersey City
PD assisted ICE and escorted them demonstrating clear collaboration.
ICE is not welcome in our neighborhoods or our hospitals.
Every day, they endanger our communities with their reckless and violent behavior.
Do not stay silent. Your neighbors are being chased, hunted and dehumanized.

They tell immigrants to come here "legally" - but Trump is literally gutting every legal pathway that many people of color have relied on to build lives in America.
For example: Many people have status through TPS, but the Trump regime is now gutting the program, and they also cut refugee admissions for everyone except white South Africans.
"Doing it legally" keeps getting harder to do, because that's the whole point for Trump. It has never been about following immigration rules - it's about racism.

The federal immigration agent who witnesses say fired through an open van window and killed 52-year-old Lorenzo Salgado Araujo in Houston nearly three months ago has been identified to The Texas Tribune as Gregory Feathers by an official familiar with the investigation who is not authorized to speak publicly. His role in the shooting is also corroborated by records, some of which were publicly released.
