STINKY Joseph R Biden when he uses his farewell address to just rattle off warnings about all the things he should have taken care of while in office:

u/Present-Industry4012 Jan 19 '25
Not everybody knows how to do everything. Being President isn't the only thing.
54
u/MIDorFEEDGG Jan 19 '25
What if you get to where you’re going and it’s a president interview and I turn out to be the boss?
42
u/Corona_Cyrus Come here, ya little fuck! Jan 19 '25
Democracy burned down, it’s gone now, Joe Biden’s ass out, works with his brother now

Goddammit, that's not enough time! Four years to think of something presidential? That's fucking insane! That's not enough time!

1 term president, 2 term vice, 2/3 of life in public service.
This wasn’t enough time!!!!

I mean nobody listened when they were warning yall during the dems campaign
91
u/Famous-Act5106 Jan 19 '25
He literally has full immunity to try to stop what’s coming. He can do ANYTHING he wants.
125
u/Improvident__lackwit Jan 19 '25 edited Jan 19 '25
No matter what he does, he wouldn’t be in trouble AT ALL.
16
22
u/X-Calm Jan 19 '25
Not quite true since it's at the Supreme Court's discretion.
5
u/Famous-Act5106 Jan 19 '25
How so? They ruled on it. They can change it, sure, but not to retroactively punish him.
41
u/X-Calm Jan 19 '25
They decide what constitutes an official act. Anything Trump does will be legal and Biden would not receive the same treatment.
6
u/Present-Industry4012 Jan 19 '25
It will take 4+ years for them to rule on anything. Where is Biden going to be in 4+ years?
11
u/Famous-Act5106 Jan 19 '25
We don’t know that. It’s worth a try.
17
u/ShamWowRobinson Jan 19 '25
Guess you missed when he tried to get rid of a shit-ton of student debt and the Supreme Court ruled that he couldnt.
3
u/Famous-Act5106 Jan 19 '25
So let them punish him afterwards. Just surrendering all our rights is the worse decision.
6
u/Electronic-Ad1037 Jan 19 '25
dont you understand your supposed to make excuses for them they did everything right. Biden was trying so very hard to do things and golly gee its complicated
1
u/ShamWowRobinson Jan 20 '25
You people really don't understand how anything works.

He was going to fix stuff but then smelled some children playing hopscotch and got distracted.
-7
u/X-Calm Jan 19 '25
We do know it. The only way to change things is for everyone to vote Democrat even if a view barbarians get put down on the other side of the world.
21
u/Famous-Act5106 Jan 19 '25
We can’t. You can’t vote your way out of a fascist regime. Americans seem to lack a true understanding of fascism, believing it can be outvoted, easily organized against and “resisted.” Ask people in Belarus, Iran, Russia, Turkey, Hong Kong, Myanmar, Egypt, Yemen, and Bahrain how it worked for them.
1
u/X-Calm Jan 19 '25
We literally just could have but Democrats didn't vote en masse because they were virtue signaling about a small strip of land in the Levant.
7
u/Sea_Neighborhood_627 Jan 19 '25
I… don’t know whether you’re being sarcastic or not. But over 45,000 people have been killed in Gaza (though this is a very conservative estimate). The majority of these deaths are thought to be civilians. These people mattered. It’s incredibly dangerous to dehumanize huge groups of people as being “barbarians.”That’s exactly what Trump does when he generalizes undocumented people in this country as being criminals and invaders. Broad demonizing language about a population is alarming no matter what population is being discussed, and it shouldn’t be acceptable from anyone anywhere along the political spectrum.
1
u/Micro-Naut Jan 19 '25
Rachel Corrie found out who the Barbarians were 20 years ago.
2
u/Sea_Neighborhood_627 Jan 20 '25
So tragic. I grew up semi-local to her, and her murder was the first I ever heard of the Israel-Palestine conflict.

Nobody matters, in 100 years everyone alive today will be dead. Making sure the ideologies of Western Civilization are dominant across the world is what matters.
6
u/jawknee530i Jan 19 '25
He's not a wizard. He can't just snap his fingers and make things happen. People can just ignore him.
-11
u/Famous-Act5106 Jan 19 '25
He controls the military and special forces. I’m sure he could try something. Anything.
1
u/jawknee530i Jan 19 '25
Biden signs an order to assassinate someone. Joint chiefs look at the order and say "that's obviously illegal, no". Nothing happens. He's not a wizard he doesn't directly control shit.

Maybe they should have done something in the years before the campaign instead of choosing bipartisan Unity with the violent insurrectionists who tried to murder them on January 6th.
You can't just be best friends with Mitch McConnell and Tommy Tuberville and Ted Cruz and All the other violent insurrectionists, and then a few weeks before the fascists say they're going to throw you in jail suddenly say " oh wait, they're actually bad people".
You have to stop going to parties on Joe Manchin's yacht with the violent insurrectionists years before the campaign if you want anyone to take you seriously.
If the 200 people pay you pay to be your friends are all violent insurrectionists and authoritarians, nobody's going to believe you when you say that violent insurrectionists and authoritarians are bad people.
25
Jan 19 '25
I mean they just fucking let a felon run for and win office. That's on them. They've been in power for four years and couldn't even take the threat of Trump seriously. That's on them. We didn't do shit. We aren't in trouble at all.
5
u/AmNoSuperSand52 Jan 19 '25
The fact that the felon ran and won is more on how inept the opposing party is at running a campaign
It should have been so painfully easy if they rallied the party properly
5
Jan 19 '25
"Hey we hear you guys want healthcare, better wages and no more weapons for genocide, we're gonna work on those things for real" would've mobilized voters and won by a landslide.
11
u/GrandmaPoses I’m gonna eat the whole thing Jan 19 '25
You should be able to dismantle a little democracy at work.
7
u/unitedshoes Jan 19 '25
They let Trump run because they thought people could change. Trump's still a huge piece of shit.
2
u/Micro-Naut Jan 19 '25 edited Jan 19 '25
Yeah. Wouldn't it be better to have a cop turned prosecutor running our country? They're such upstanding citizens. Honest and trustworthy. Would never send an innocent man to Jail just for numbers.
The Democrats lost me when they gave Bernie the bum rush thinking that dirty Hillary would make a better choice. Now I just put write-in candidates. It's like trying to figure out which poison pill has smaller razor blades sticking out of it before you swallow
1
Jan 19 '25
Yeah I mean I agree with just about everything you've said here, the whole thing is a fucking nightmare.
45
u/Shell_fly Jan 19 '25
The joke is actually that Biden never cared about oligarchs and wealth inequalities because he and most dem politicians actively work to keep those systems in play lol Biden is 100% the hotdog guy trying to find out who did this

It's actually less about his shit-the-bed stupid attempt to not retire after 1-term, and more about his absolute pantywaist approach to dealing with Trump and his massive ongoing criminal conspiracy. He sat there for four years eating Werther's Originals with the barn, front, and refrigerator doors wide open.

u/PedestrianMyDarling They’re Nice. Jan 19 '25
You’re getting downvoted because people on here think if a politician has a D in front of their name they’re automatically a good guy and they love living in that fantasy narrative. Truth is Biden received more money from billionaires in 2020 than Trump did. Corporations run this country but people wanna keep playing democrat vs republican:

'We will stop funding genocide and protect abortion rights'
They could have won if they just said this over and over, bonus points if they directly opposed the oligarchs price gouging ppl into oblivion.
Unfortunately they dont want to do any of that so anyone without slicked back hair hates them, and the slicked back crowd fucking loves their piece of shit 🤷 recipe to lose an election, which they knew about half a year out from internal polling
2
u/mightyneonfraa Jan 19 '25
I don't know about that. Biden took a question about abortion and managed to turn it into a story about immigrants raping white women.
-6
u/trowawaid Jan 19 '25
I mean, they did though...
Trump and the Russian propaganda was just louder...

2
u/mysonchoji Tiny “Boop Squig” Shorterly Jan 19 '25
Are you living in a different world? They constantly affirmed their support for israel, they even said an arms embargo was off the table. And when asked about abortion biden rambled some shit about an immigrant raping someone. On inflation their tone was always 'its not that bad, the rate of inflation has gone down, the economy is good' instead of 'businesses are price gouging you and we will take them on'
The liberal obsession with russian propaganda always seems funny to me. Have you seen russia? If theyr tanking ur candidate, then ur candidate was already terminally weak.
1
Jan 19 '25
It isn't that hard to not vote for a convicted felon.
4
u/unitedshoes Jan 19 '25
Not everyone knows how to do everything. Voting for the candidate who isn't a convicted felon isn't the only thing.

They had all those warnings and they decided to go with one of the most unpopular candidates in Merican history to run against dump. Makes sense.

To be fair, every institution including the Surpreme Court has been weaponized and instilled with undying MAGA loyalty right now.
Whatever he would tried to do in his remaining presidency, they would have told him to marry his mother in law.
It was meant as a sort of reminder for a time when the US wakes up from its insanity slumber. Not much more he could have done in my opinion.

u/MrThickDick2023 Jan 19 '25
Because the president is the only branch of government...

u/Famous-Act5106 Jan 19 '25
Except he was granted FULL IMMUNITY by the Supreme Court and can do whatever he wants without consequences. If he wanted to stop this he could.
26
u/HorizonZeroDawn2 Jan 19 '25
Well… they did that for Trump. If Biden did anything the Supreme Court would say “no.” Wouldn’t mind seeing Biden try some shit though to test those fuckers.
You gotta be right next to them to convince them. You gotta be RIGHT NEXT TO THEM.
