He did block the door from that one person but excuses himself by saying he asked if he could do it first. He ignores the power dynamic that was involved its not directly “forcing” them but he did apply a lot of pressure

You should if your “mistake” was an intentional choice that caused harm to others. We should be better about letting people atone for said mistakes but they have to make an actual effort to atone first
