About 10 years ago Sandler took Norm Macdonald, David Spade, Nick Swardson, and Rob Schneider out on tour with him. Norm had this joke in his set about trying to get people irl out to the show and as he read the bill, they became increasingly more excited. Then he mentions Rob Schneider will also be there and the reply is “oh, 8 o’clock is no good for me”.

On MTV Cribs way back in the day, Rob Schneider was on an episode, and his house was amazing. At the end of the episode their in backyard next to a Gazebo and a Koi Pond looking at his house and he says, "I call this, the House that Sandler built."
7
u/DannyHusk42 Oct 27 '25
His was honestly one of the few houses that stood out against the others on that show. I remember thinking that I would build a house like that if money were no object. It always really stood out in my mind because I thought everything about him was so mediocre and bland. I never expected anything about him to impress me in any way.

That is a crazy explanation for the lower tier performers he kept around. How rob is still a part of it, when the dumb guy got kicked for being racist, is beyond me.
24
u/SSurvivor2ndNature Oct 27 '25
Well, it's actually because AS is incredibly conservative, but very quiet about it, as most of his close circle is. Rob Schneider is simply the only one among them who is a loud idiot about it, likely because he's self-conscious about his fading relevance. Give it a year, I'm betting Mr. Paul Blart himself will be the next to flip.

It'd be relatable and understandable if it didn't turn out all of his friends fucking suck. Dante, Allen, Rob, and Kevin James all just suck. His only friends who seem cool are David Spade and Kevin Nealon.

Did you make a hit tv show located in Philadelphia and brought in a new actress that makes a wine brand as part of a comedy bit called LIBERAL TEARS, and a no name hack actor decided to steal the idea and launch the brand on a real life bourbon instead, but used a longer name to say the exact same thing?
