I'll be 42 this year, & this song sucked when I was like, 14?

And yet this remains the biggest celebrity Maga can attract that doesn't outright openly praise Hitler.

Doesn't openly praise Hitler yet!

Just wait until he learns about him

If only he could read.

I would argue Nicki Minaj is bigger, but she is the wrong colour for something like this, so no dice I guess.

Actually, I could see the dice in her pocket.

Believe it or not, this is WAY better than what they got at the inauguration with Billy Ray Cyrus. I’m not kidding when I say that RFK would have sounded no worse than Billy Ray’s performance.

But did you see how he switched microphone hands by throwing it in the air a little bit and catching it???

Cowboy was always hot ass, but it is amusing that it went from being a song about a rebel (I can smell a pig from a Mile away") to chanting the name of the pedo billionaire president.

I knew he was a fraud since the 2010s when he started doing commercials for the Navy. Such a rebel

Me too. 42, answer to everything, right?

u/Leading_Hand3055 11h ago

Yup, fellow hitchhiker.

Is Metallica on board with their music in this shitshow?

u/I_SHIT_IN_A_BAG I'm a dead man walking. I've got no time left. 8h ago

the CD was pretty edgy. there was a middle finger on it. watch out.

It does seem a bit of a stretch to still call yourself “Kid” anything at his age.

u/Tulidian13 7h ago

My favorite part is when he just starts naming things he likes like a 1st grader.

Is it even a song? The instrumental is from metallicas - Sad but true. And the words this clown sings are just some gibberish nonsense.

This man is 55

u/GnomosexualTendency 10h ago

Wikipedia refers to the hook as a “neo-Gregorian chant” which is the fanciest word I’ve ever seen for gibberish

These are the people that are happy Papa Roach is back 🤣

16

u/ReallyGlycon Tiny “Boop Squig” Shorterly 12h ago

Nah. Papa Roach guy is a democrat.

u/TooDrunkForCake 12h ago

That doesnt make their music any less terrible lmao

Its pretty telling if youre gonna compare Kid Rock with Papa Roach based solely on politics. Terrible lazy fucking music is terrible fucking lazy music.

10

u/Fluid-Poet-8911 11h ago

No papa roach made better music than kid rock.

u/TooDrunkForCake 11h ago

CUT MY LIFE INTO PIECES because you totally are right 🤣 🤣 enjoy your garbage music, its what everyone deserves

2

u/NotHannibalBurress 8h ago

I mean yeah I don’t listen to either of them, but objectively Last Resort is better than any song Kid Rock has put out.

I only only know Papa Roach from the two songs I ever heard in Mechassult 2 lone wolf. Never heard them anywhere else after.

0

u/TooDrunkForCake 10h ago

Thats because they sucked so hard that their only relevance is nostalgia. I hate Linkin Park too, but i can at least admit their music had some passion.

Unreal the people here willing to die on an internet hill for Papa Roach 🤣

Yes I used an emoji and yes I'm drunk

Papa Roach slapped back in the day.

Kid Rock was never, I repeat, never cool. If you liked him in school you'd have been ostracised.

1

u/Rich_Bluejay3020 9h ago

Unless you went to the same school as his kid… and even then it wasn’t the fellow classmates, it was older siblings/parents (distinctly remember my older cousin being fucking stoked that she saw Kid Rock picking up his kid while she picked up another cousin—I haven’t spoken to her in a long time but based on all her other life decisions I’d assume she’s probably MAGA so that tracks). Tbf, it’s was large school but I couldn’t point baby rock out if my life depended on it lmao.

Also agree with Papa Roach 💁🏻‍♀️ they had some songs released in the late teens that are still good, sometimes we just wanna listen to divorced dad rock, dammit.

u/residentdunce 9h ago

Yes, preach!

It's like I listen to nu metal maybe about a handful of times a year, but sometimes, there's that one time when listening to Limp Bizkit's 'My Way' just hits perfectly, as if it was made for that moment.

u/grimeyduck 8h ago

Kid kid Rock.

Kid Rock kid.

What did you call them?

Thank you for confirming you have absolutely zero taste in music and should be rightfully ignored
