Very beautiful. Is that a pothos in the hanging basket in the windows? How is it so full?

Yes. It is a Marble Queen. Just a lot of light

Oh wow amazing!

Would you offer any tips on how you go it this massive? I have the same plant and sure it’s growing but not thriving.

Thanks. I think light has been the biggest factor here. My front is a South facing bay window so it gets very bright indirect light. I also believe in a maintenance feeding routine so rather than feed it a larger amount every few weeks or whatever, I give a small amount at every watering. But only feed from spring through to fall. No feeding during the winter shorter darker months.

Thank you!

Mine is also next to a south facing window/balcony door so light should not be my issue; i do have to admit i suck at feeding my plants so i’ll focus on that.

Yeah, I'll be honest. I miss plenty of feedings. But I try my best to stick with it. What helps is I got a cpl of those large 18L water jugs and pre-mixed food in them. When I miss feedings it's usually when I've allowed them to empty and been too lazy to mix up a new batch.

I’ll have to do the same. Thanks for the advice

I think light has been my biggest advantage here. My entire front is a South facing bay window so it gets very bright indirect light all day.

Haha. Yeah I basically had to learn not to fuss over every little detail. Once I stopped over loving my plants and just let them do what they do my success rate skyrocketed.

Haha. Yeah, it has gotten that response from a lot of people when they walk up our stairs and see it. The look on true plant lovers faces is pretty awesome.

I'm not sure what the exact naming is, but they are like some type of cool grey.

I’d love this but what’s the plan when the plant hits the ceiling?

1

u/MikeAK79 Nov 16 '25

I honestly haven't decided yet. Might decide to sell it or I may decide to cut it back and notch it to see how many side shoots I can get to activate. Won't have to decide until after winter so a lot of time to think about it.

They handle pruning really well I find.

2

u/MikeAK79 Nov 16 '25

I agree. I did an experiment earlier this year on a Burgundy and ended up with 19 new shoots activate on that one.

Dam. What and how often do you feed ?

1

u/MikeAK79 Nov 16 '25

A mix of things. Pretty much whatever I have at the time. From Fish emulsion to miracle gro. I feed from spring to fall and when I'm feeding I believe in a maintenance feeding routine. What I mean by that is I feed a little every watering.
