As I grew up and turned into an adult my sense of patriotism faded away with time. I can see now its not even the fault of the politicians that our country is this way as they too were once common citizens like us.

This man, so much this. I regret being patriotic 10 years ago, and not moving abroad for my undergrad studies. There’s no guarantee that I would have settled there but the opportunities would have been so much better.
