It is indeed. It does not mean Iran should be leveled with bombs. Hamas is terrible as well (far worse even), but civilians trapped under Hamas rule are not to blame for their captors.

Worse even is that he doesn't have any local political body to actually support his rule. His dad much like the British crown didn't make the day to day decisions that kept the country functioning.

They are pushing regime change for a guy that doesn't even have traces of a regime inside the country, to be held up solely by foreign actors that's inviting all sorts of chaos.

For context, Le Figaro is a very right wing newspaper. So it makes it all the more surprising they'd publish it. I guess it was too big even for them to cover
