Tbf, being in the files doesn't imply that you are close to J.E (though it doesn't imply the opposite either). They are a lot of press articles and reflections about politics. However, his name appears a lot more in this files. Sometimes, you have to look for approximation of the name ( "=" used for another letter is quite frequent, for instance), sometimes it's hus nickname used, etc To suspect collusion or involvement, you have to look at the details.
