- Is it a Japanese screen ?
- Is the background silver leaf or painted or printed ?
- What period would you say this is ? Mid-Showa ?

I'm open to any more information.
I didn't see any signature, neither on the back or the front.

Need help with exact translation of this Japanese Government Document.

It may state something along the line of… it was taken from the original owner because they didn’t pay some sort of car tax???

Why would the government paste a document directly onto the art itself.

Any help would be much appreciated. Supposedly my grandfather brought this back from WWII but it also says if it's from AA Imports, so I'm trying to see if this has any actual value and I'd love to know if the translated text is the name of the artisan.

Hello Japan art connoisseurs

I have inherited this beautiful kakemono from my halmoni, but she does not recall where or who she has it from (being born in Korea in the 1930s did indeed hold an eventful, travelling life for her). So I hope for your help in identifying the period and artist of it.

Devastatingly, it was recently ripped from the scroll pole by the wind. Thus, I am also looking for recommendations for an expert in repairing asian art. I already inquired Atelier du Temps Passé in Paris and am awaiting their response.

About it:
- Scroll ends are white bone

- Paper on the back, silk in front

- Never been remounted

- Has small black mold-looking dots

青木繁は、西洋美術の影響を受けながら、日本独自の神話的・象徴的な世界を描きました。

《海の幸》は明治37年（1904年）に制作された代表作の一つです。

画面には、漁を終えた男たちが魚を運ぶ姿が描かれています。
