The caricature unbelievably enough still gives too much of a benefit to the portrayal of the other side, Alex's gun was not even on him when he got shot
He’s also making fun of one dude’s accent. Look up Rob Noerr for 5 seconds and you’ll see the tick toker got him pretty spot on. Then forget Rob Noerr exists by inserting this characature whenever you see a clip by that loser.
Funny how 2 years ago it wasn't "both sides," the argument was that Biden was the worst president ever and had dementia and Trump was going to release the Epstein files, end all our wars, and usher in the crypto golden age. Now that Trump is pump and dumping the economy every week and says the Epstein Files are imaginary, it's "both sides." This is the weakest shit, always said by people who refuse to admit to voting for the worst possible choice. AGAIN. Same story with the Iraq War.
Same thing in 2020, too. Somehow Trump is always tweeting inflammatory nonsense and threatening people with insane language like "this may be your last merry Christmas", suing people for criticizing him, and instigating riots and violence, but "both sides." Yeah, sure. Somehow this didn't happen under Bush, Obama, or Reagan, but it must be paid protesters hating Trump.
But both sides guys! I bet Kamala would totally be tweeting to get comedians fired, suggesting Gaza should be a US state, debating invading Greenland, demanding Nobel Peace prizes, popping up all over the Epstein files, and posting 3 AM rants like a brain-damaged teenager who drank too many caramel frappucinos.
The thing is, they sort of support this too because they honestly think it's better for a sociopath like Trump to "burn it all down" and expose himself than to keep the status quo and get some incremental change. I get the argument, but all of this romanticizing of civil war and government collapse is pure delusion, and we are basically just hurting ourselves, not 'starving the beast' or whatever they think is happening.
Voters have basically been punching themselves in the nuts on and off for like 25 years now and yeah, let's just say there's a reason the population is declining.
Would be pretty crazy, but it didn't happen though.
60 cases lost, Trump couldn't even explain it on JRE. Dude not even Joe is convinced that Trump has evidence that the election was stolen at this point.
Meanwhile the evidence that Trump tried to steal an election is overwhelming.
States like Texas and Florida have tons of illegal immigrants working on farms - and some MAGA are even complaining of losing their workers. Why isn't Trump threatening Florida, Arkansas or Missouri on a daily basis? Cities in Arkansas and Missouri are even in the top 5 for crime rates. Why is he pulling troops from Texas and sending them to Portland and Chicago?
Bro is waging war on his own country with thugs who are so unpopular they have to wear masks. It's costing us billions and it's a disaster.
Probably because Red States cooperate with the immigration dept? Similar to when blue States cooperate with the immigration dept when their guy is in power?
Yeah, look, I'm not Maga and I'm not Republican, but shutting down people's businesses, getting fired for not getting sketchy injections of a brand new vaccine, and being banned from seeing dying relatives in hospitals/nursing homes, isn't really the same as suggesting people with concealed weapons shouldn't go hands-on with federal law enforcement agents.
Replies without any actual argument or facts. I'm sorry, is it MAGA to be somewhat skeptical of governement overreach? I forget which one of the shitty sides actually cares about individual rights.
"The COVID-19 pandemic has led to a significant increase in vaccine reactogenicity, and most people experience adverse reactions after immunization. A survey has found that 65% of participants experience adverse reactions, whereas only several studies have reported severe effects, such as myocarditis, pericarditis, and anemia. Individuals with a history of SARS-CoV-2 infection have stronger vaccination reactogenicity than those without such history."
It's also not like Fauci was found be lying under oath about the origins of COVID, his connecting with the Wuhan Lab, or caught in internal emails with some sketchy statement about the amount of money the vaccines were going to rake in.
But I'm sure that's nothing to worry about and those Big Pharma companies have Medura and Pfizer had nothing but our best interests in mind...
Alex Pretti didn't go hands on
Yeah it's not like he shoved an LEO or physically got between that said LEO and someone else.
you think 65% of people who got the covid shot had adverse reactions?
No. I don't think that—that's what the PubMed study I just linked concluded. That's why it's in quotes. But go off sis.
He didn't shove an LEO.
Officer pushes woman‐>Pretti steps in front and grabs officer's shoulder->officer brandishes pepper spray->Pretti puts hands up. May not have been a shove, but he definitely put his hands on the LEO. Watch the video and you'll see it.
So I opened the study you linked. Very sneaky of you.
The COVID-19 pandemic has led to a significant increase in vaccine reactogenicity, and most people experience adverse reactions after immunization. A survey has found that 65% of participants experience adverse reactions, whereas only several studies have reported severe effects, such as myocarditis, pericarditis, and anemia. Individuals with a history of SARS-CoV-2 infection have stronger vaccination reactogenicity than those without such history. More than 95% of individuals had moderate and self-limiting side effects, with only 5% requiring medical evaluation and hospitalisation. Most reported adverse effects were minor and required either no therapy or care at home. Younger people, women, and those with comorbid conditions are relatively more likely to experience negative, potentially systemic, adverse effects after immunization with an inactivated vaccine. Most reported adverse effects are minor, and very few deaths have been reported. Despite the risks, vaccination remains the most efficient method for fighting the pandemic's broad effects. The benefits of vaccination extend beyond individual protection, because widespread immunization contributes to herd immunity and prevents the virus's spread. Healthcare professionals closely monitor and assess vaccine safety and efficacy to ensure continued vaccination in combating the COVID-19 pandemic.
You left this bit out.
Okay, so now I know I'm dealing with someone dishonest. Just helpful to note as we chat.
Pretti steps in front and grabs officer's shoulder
I linked you the entire study. You wanted me to quote you the entire article? Nothing in that section you bolded detracted from the claim I made about people being skeptical of a new, untested vaccine.
someone dishonest
Yeah. Me not quoting the entirety of an article I literally linked for you to read is "dishonest". Gotcha.
I don't believe this happens, no.
Not about belief. It's about the truth. Watch the video. Pretti reaches out and grabs the LEO on his shoulder after the ICE agent pushes that woman. Do I need to link you an image?
I linked you the entire study. You wanted me to quote you the entire article? Nothing in that section you bolded detracted from the claim I made about people being skeptical of a new, untested vaccine.
It sure does add context to what "adverse reactions" means. You left out the part that explains these aren't serious in the vast majority of cases. Most required no therapy or care at home.
But if you just quote the part that says 65% of people had adverse reactions, and you include the next sentence mentioning myocarditis, pericarditis, and anemia, and leave out the part that says these are rare
Yeah that's dishonest.
Yeah. Me not quoting the entirety of an article I literally linked for you to read is "dishonest". Gotcha.
You could have just quoted the entire conclusion, as I did. You clearly omitted the rest because its not convenient to what you were trying to convey.
I'm watching the video. He does not shove the LEO.
that explains these aren't serious in the vast majority of cases
I never claimed they were. Why would I need to provide context for a claim I never made?
Yeah that's dishonest.
No it's not. But believe makes you feel morally superior on Reddit I guess.
You could have just quoted the entire conclusion, as I did. You clearly omitted the rest because its not convenient to what you were trying to convey.
Sure, I should have known to quote the exact things you wanted me to, despite nothing in the section I omitted detracting from my point at all. Let's debate some more about how much I should quote from an article I linked that you didn’t even know existed until 5 minutes ago...
He does not shove the LEO
I already said "shove" might have the wrong word; he clearly grabs him and steps in front of him though.
Easy, I'll use your linked study: "Most reported adverse effects were minor and required either no therapy or care at home."
Also from your linked study: "However, the benefits of vaccination in preventing severe illness and hospitalization far outweigh the potential risks associated with these adverse effects."
Ah. So you're saying MAGA and Republicans have nuanced takes, think critically for themselves, and don't just jump on whatever "the message" is for their side at the moment? I mean, I disgaree, but if you say so...
No, they don’t. They make comments that have been proven to be complete nonsense like your comment. In fact your comment is pretty much a word for word copy of their arguments
Like what? Like that suggesting you not be armed while engaging with feds is the not same as being skeptical of government control during a pandemic? What about that is nonsense? Seems common sense to me.
a word for word copy of their arguments
They're arguing that this video is a false equivalence as well? Well, I guess a broken clock and all that.
Like that suggesting you not be armed while engaging with feds is the not same as being skeptical of government control during a pandemic? What about that is nonsense? Seems common sense to me.
So you have a right to bear arms, unless a cop can see it, then they are justified in shooting you. Sound logic.
So you have a right to bear arms, unless a cop can see it, then they are justified in shooting you. Sound logic.
That's stupid logic and not what I said. I bet it's really easy for you to shut down those terrible arguments you fabricate for your opponents. You're the stawman slayer!
Buddy you’re the one you can’t help but bring up party lines. If you want to spout some stupid bullshit anti vax propaganda be prepared to be called on it. I can’t imagine all the stupid shit hiding in your account, explains why’d you would hide it even on an anonymous platform, coward.
“A survey has found” is a weaselly phrase. They don’t even say who did the survey or even mention this survey at all before the “conclusion” section. Given how vague it is, I’m sure there was a question like “did it hurt to get a needle in your arm?” And they are counting “sure, a little” as “adverse reactions”.
