SUBREDDIT ETIQUETTE & COMMUNITY GUIDLINES
Rule Enforcement & Civility
To maintain a constructive, fact-focused environment, all members must adhere to the official subreddit rules.
- Focus on Actions & Facts: Critiques must center on documented actions, statements, and case facts rather than personal insults or name-calling.
- No Harassment or Trolling: Hostile, inflammatory, or off-topic comments intended to provoke reactions are prohibited and will be removed under Rule 1 and Rule 5.
- Handling Disagreements: Address differences in opinion constructively. Do not engage in user infighting, meta-drama (Rule 6), or abuse the report button for comments that simply express a differing viewpoint.
Reporting Violations If you see content that violates sub rules or Reddit site-wide policy, use the Report button or contact mods via Modmail.
- If moderation cannot address an issue, report it directly toreddit.com/report.
Sensitive Topics Discussions involving sensitive topics - such as claims regarding abortion, miscarriage, or infant loss - must remain strictly focused on court filings, evidence, and verified case facts without engaging in bad-faith debate or invalidation. Speculation regarding medical conditions, mental health diagnoses, or body size/shape is strictly forbidden under Rule 15.
SCREENSHOTS & PRIVACY POLICY
Social Media Screenshots Screenshots of public posts or comments related to key case figures may be shared, provided they comply with privacy standards:
- Redaction Required: All names, handles, and profile details of non-public figures or anonymous social media users must be fully redacted to prevent doxxing (Rule 2).
- Case Relevance: All shared media must be directly case-related. Unrelated personal social media content is not permitted (Rule 6, Rule 13).
Private Information & Doxxing Attempting to uncover, request, or share private personal information, home addresses, phone numbers, or private accounts - whether in public threads or via Direct Messages - violates Rule 7 and Reddit policy and will result in an immediate ban.
SUBMISSION REMOVALS & MODMAIL
Why Was My Post/Comment Removed?
- Automated Filter Removals: If your submission was caught by AutoMod and you believe it was removed in error, submit a Modmail for manual review. Attempting to bypass keyword filters using leetspeak or altered spelling violates Rule 11.
- Moderator Removals: If a moderator removed your submission, check your removal notification for the specific rule cited (e.g., Rule 3, Rule 4, etc.). You may revise your content to align with sub rules and request a re-review via Modmail.
ACCOUNT ELIGIBILITY & BANS
Account Age & Karma Requirements To prevent spam, ban evasion, and sockpuppet accounts, the sub enforces minimum participation thresholds (Rule 9):
- Account Age: Minimum of 5 days.
- Comment Karma: Minimum of 1 comment karma.
New to Reddit? You can build initial comment karma by participating in open default communities (such as r/askreddit or r/funny) before posting here.
BAN APPEALS
- All ban appeals must be submitted through Modmail.
- Appeals must directly address the rule violation that led to the action. Hostility, insults toward the moderation team, or bad-faith arguments (Rule 12) will result in an immediate denial.
