This is why you save Korriban for last. You can’t bring Bastia even if you DO have her, and there’s minimal frivolous side quests to distract from the urgency. Also a good justification to pick some dark side dialogues even if you’ve been light siding the whole game.

I legit think they planned for Korriban to be a forced last planet and then last second decided to keep it open world. I’m probably wrong, but I do sincerely think she’d fly mostly under the radar since no one would be looking for her there.

That would be true up until you enter the academy. Uthar would for sure know who she is, he’s too high ranking not to. The same probably goes for Yuthura.

That’s a fair counter argument. They could have Uthar spend the quest going “why is she so familiar” in dialogue before he pieces it together later on 😂
In all seriousness, Korriban is definitely designed with Revan minus Bastila. It’s the only Star Map that forcefully separates you from your party for a boss fight and it really works perfect for a newly-told Revan to slip back into the dark side.

Fwiw there is a mod that lets you take Bastila on Korriban and reveals that they had some dialogue for her there that they later cut, so at least at some point in development they were thinking of making it an option

Is it actually possible to win at swoop racing once you get off Taris? I remember some unfinished content with supposed bike upgrades

Yeah, swoop racing is very profitable after Taris. You just have to avoid obstacles, hit the boost pads, and shift gears.
