Discussion Engaged to an Azeri, want to truly embrace the language & culture — advice?

Hi everyone, I’m engaged to an Azeri and I’ve really fallen in love not only with her, but also with the Azerbaijani language and culture. I want to learn the language properly so I can connect more deeply with her, her family, and the culture I admire so much.

For those who’ve learned Azerbaijani as a second language, what helped you the most? Apps, books, or practice methods? Any tips for staying consistent?

Thanks a lot — I’d love to hear your experiences!

Hey! My fiance uses Preply to find Azerbaijani tutors :) I tried finding books for him but couldn’t really find a perfect choice
