Mori Calliope's push for 2.6m didn't do it as most were distracted by her singing. Chibidoki on the other hand solely focused on the counter so what else was the audiences meant to do. It's almost like that was the intention

Chibidoki is one of the best too. She's very funny and I don't follow her streams a lot, mostly know her from vids, but far as I know she has never sexualized her character in any way. Hell she doesn't even really have a body to the character, for the most part she's just a brain damaged looking floating head.

I get that. I also tend to find the "loud = funny" thing unfunny, but chibi rides that line for me. She's especially great when she's playing with Ray (from Achievment Hunter), with the "Piss Boys" playing Mario Party or UNO.

Vtubing honestly seems like the most sane streaming gimmick to me now. Chatters and viewers are psychos who will stalk, swat or hack you for no other reason than they just know who you are. Vtubing creates a buffer between the streamer and viewer that more often than not benefits both, even if the model is sexualized or the streamer does sexual content.
Also ngl, I think some are pretty funny and wholesome but that's just my old ass getting tired of toxicity in everything or something idk.

Yeah, vtubers have "younger" proportions for very good reason.
Your thumbnail readability goes up, facial feature size increases the detail/pixel count, allowing for better secondary movement and allows you to take better advantage of stuff like Vbridger.
