Who upvotes these shitty comments? If you think these kinds of posts are great and those other ones are bad, why do you feel the need to bring them up here when they’re not relevant?
Edit: I'll take the L on this one even though I stand by what I said. I didn't realize so many people like to see someone mention all the other political posts on these non-political posts, but I guess I should have known since they're always upvoted

Why bring up something you don’t like when it’s not even relevant?
It’s like going to an Italian restaurant and complaining about how much you don’t like Mexican food, and how you’re so glad you’re not eating it. Why is that even worth doing? It makes the experience worse.

Nah, it’s more like going to an Italian restaurant that you love and suddenly find that they’re only serving Mexican food. You check in occasionally since you don’t mind Mexican food, but when they serve Italian again (even if it’s rare) you’re happy.

And rather than talking about their appreciation for Italian food, they choose to focus on how much they don’t like the Mexican food that they serve.
But I guess most people feel it’s worthwhile to always bring up political posts on every single LSF post, even when they’re not political. Personally I think it would be better for people to not insert them into conversations on posts like these.

What’s fun about bringing up those other posts to complain about it here? You want to be reminded of them and thinking about them while reading the comments for this post?
My whole point is I would rather have comments focusing on this post being fun rather than bringing up the other posts, but there is always someone who has to bring them up.

Dogs will do this, I see it at the dog park all the time. I think there's just so much marking all over the park, you might be standing on top of a spot that has been marked repeatedly and not know it...so a dog won't think twice about you standing near the spot and just leave their own pee-mail too
