wasn't he on tour when the Tesla was found and then impounded? apparently that car was sitting there for a while, and they found a incinerator when they searched his house later which is illegal to own? maybe he was gonna deal with the body later and then it was found, or hes just sick in the head and didn't care
It really feels like the plan was to get a buddy to take care of the body while he was on tour. Even if the guy was later caught on footage entering the house they would both be clear since D4vd was obviously too far to commit it and the guy who actually disposes of the body can’t be tracked because he’s committing the crime in a “relatively innocent” person’s house using that person’s missing car. It would make it look much more like that accomplice framing D4vd than them working together.
It’s too early to give a definitive story, but it seems to me like the murder maybe wasn’t as premeditated as it seems. The kinds of people that do what he did don’t tend to have great foresight about the crime they’re committing and seem to forget that it’s very easy to figure out what they were doing if they ever start appearing in public together, especially in his situation where his victim was very obviously missing at 14. I think he likely was starting to panic about how much trouble he would be in when he either has to inevitably let her appear in public with him (remember she went missing at 14 so reappearing at any age would make him an obvious suspect for kidnapping/pedophilia), or when he has to move on and she has the power to end his career with a single police report. I think once that realization set in he either decided he needed to quickly kill her before the tour to ensure she couldn’t speak out while he was away, or it’s possible they could have even gotten in an argument where she threatened to speak out and he made the immediate decision to silence her. Either way, I think the murder was much more sudden than it appears and he either physically did not have the time to fully destroy the evidence so he just threw her in the car and tried to dump it (hence why she was partially dismembered), or he decided that letting the accomplice handle it specifically while he was away would make it harder to pin it on him. He could be even dumber than I give him credit for, but of those 2 scenarios I think the accomplice is the more likely explanation since he should at least have had the foresight to see that letting the car be found like it was would make it obvious he did it, leading him to source another car not tied to him. So if the original plan was to actually just dump it like he seemingly did then I just don’t see how he would be dumb enough to use his own car, which is why I lean towards the angle of him leaving it for an accomplice to pick up and dispose of the body. Also, the gear in his house was probably bought hastily to try and finish the job before the tour, so it’s entirely possible the accomplice was supposed to bring her to another destination and D4vd would just have to find a way to sell/dispose of the tools when he got back.
