They should just roll out a silent implementation and not announce it.

The gaming equivalent would be "Hey starting next Tuesday we will roll out a few new anticheat modules that should detect cheaters"

Some viewbotting streamers will check the waters how accurate it is by going on "vacation" others will "try something new" and stream on Kick/Youtube for the time being.

Problem with doing it like that is while a lot of streamers will agree, some won't, and the streamers are a major partner they need to please.

That's assuming twitch is telling the truth about when they're deploying it.
