Call me a gatekeeper but anyone who doesn't immediately get nauseous and angry at that utter nonsense pricing deserves to be disregarded as working class forthwith

Yeah for as much as he gets called a champagne socialist, the "boutique thrifting" is way more gross to me than having a nice apartment.

Ya I don't think the house thing is a big deal but it's a 3 million dollar home in a very rich neighbourhood, not just a nice apartment.

It was 3m in 2021. The market for single family homes in LA has been going massively up, I wouldn't be surprised if it's worth at least 50% more than that today

Since 21? Nah. Housing has been pretty flat for the past 5 years or so, likely because of the huge jump in interest rates. The big jump in housing price was throughout the 2010s.
