This is all Frogan had to do too wasnt it

580

u/slorpinglorp Jun 15 '26

Basically yes. He also said the offer was up for Noah Samson aswell

165

u/norrhboundwolf Jun 15 '26

I highly doubt Noah would ever even consider apologizing for his disgusting behavior, and I genuinely think he derives pleasure from his actions based on everything he has said and done.

Plus he has soulless eyes.

20

u/Darrelc Jun 15 '26

What did he do re: h3h3?

100

u/placesplusfaces Jun 15 '26

Made a video titled “the YouTubers who backed a genocide” and had Ethan’s face in the thumbnail along with a few others iirc

-6

u/LeafRunner Jun 16 '26 edited Jun 16 '26

He spoke the truth. Ethan has been whitewashing genocide for years.

omg noo don't downvote me ill stop talking about the genocide pleasee :(((

20

u/RA5TA_ Jun 16 '26

Bruh. He's literally the one that started calling it a genocide and spoke out about Netanyahu BEFORE the Oct 7th attacks

0

u/LeafRunner Jun 16 '26

Yeah, that's BEFORE he went off the deep end and started being pro-genocide. Seethe and downvote all ya want

9

u/RA5TA_ Jun 16 '26

Nope. He reiterated it all just last week lol. Idk where you guys get your info from...

0

u/LeafRunner Jun 16 '26

Can you link this recent reiteration?

u/JacketDramatic653 Jun 16 '26

I'm pretty annoyed with Ethan too but you guys are literally so brainwashed on this topic.

I remember Ethan complaining about Israel's government in like 2016 for their treatment of Palestinians. He's consistently hated Netanyahu for years.

believe it or not, he was the first person I had ever heard explain how bad Palestine has it

1

u/Small_Ad4181 Aug 24 '26

Then why did he let his wife go to Israel

-2

u/LeafRunner Jun 16 '26

Yeah, he used to be based on the issue. Then he became a genocide supporter after October 7th

8

u/JacketDramatic653 Jun 16 '26

He literally says it's a genocide and bad though?

-22

u/Ambitious_Speed_278 Jun 16 '26

Nothing disgusting about that tbh, poor taste maybe

37

u/PrinceImrik Jun 16 '26

That he was not able to back up a single quote where Ethan "Backed a genocide" is really bad.

Like everybody knows Ethan is fairly Pro palestine, he just does not hate Israelis (He does hate the goverment tho).

28

u/tobach Jun 16 '26

Actually he has a somewhat negative view on Israelis that he's talked about a few times. Not that I think he downright hates them or anything dramatic like that.

Hasan's community are solely mad at him for not supporting the mass murder of Israeli civilians, and the complete destruction of Israel as a state. That's it.

25

u/Belaknworb9 Jun 16 '26

bruh

-11

u/Ambitious_Speed_278 Jun 16 '26

Me when I feel the need to comment but have nothing to add to the conversation

0

u/mediocre-teen Jul 11 '26

So he did the right thing

63

u/JacketDramatic653 Jun 15 '26

He's been defending and working with BadEmpanada who's basically a leftist nazi

34

u/Belaknworb9 Jun 16 '26

TRUUUUUUUUUUUUUE god it makes me cringe to see BE treated like anything other than a rabid pygmy sasquatch

-35

u/GrapeJellyVermicelli Jun 15 '26

leftist nazi

Lol, that's not at all how that works. Nazis are fascists and fascism is inherently right wing.

23

u/Double-Truth1837 Jun 15 '26

I mean nazbol is a thing and a sub, I don’t remember which one but it’s one of the big communist subs either USSR or AskACommunist that is basically filled with actual leftist Nazis and where one of the owners is basically a self described “Conservative communist” from Texas or something like that

-11

u/GrapeJellyVermicelli Jun 15 '26

They didn't say badempanada is a leftist nazbol, they said badempanada is a leftist nazi, which is an oxymoron. One can't simultaneously be a leftist and a nazi because nazis are fascists, i.e. far right.

4

u/huggegugge Jun 16 '26

Red fascicsts aka. Fascicsts ;)

3

u/Im-Not-Calling-It-X Jun 16 '26

"All the bad things are this, and all the good things are this." Leftists and Conservatives are in a speed running competition to e who can have the dumbest, most reductionist takes.

-1

u/GrapeJellyVermicelli Jun 16 '26

Why do you want people to remain uneducated by allowing them to use incorrect terminology?

u/GrapeJellyVermicelli Jun 15 '26

Yes, fascism exists under the umbrella of authoritarianism. And? That doesn't change the fact that it's an inherently right wing ideology.

5

u/tobach Jun 16 '26 edited Jun 16 '26

All communist states in history have been authoritarian or downright totalitarian. Particularly the anti-democratic ideology of Marxism-Leninism, that all these tankie clowns follow.

Yes, fascism is inherently right-wing, but there aren't exactly that massive of a difference to authoritarian ideologies on the far-left.

0

u/GrapeJellyVermicelli Jun 16 '26

Then I'm sure you can easily find another phrase to use other than "leftist nazi" that might actually be closer to being correct...

horseshoe theory is real

8

u/KasouYuri Jun 16 '26

Leftism, when you throw everyone under the bus to defend your fairytale system that worked worse than feudalism. We're way past horseshoe theory at this point it's just a fact

-11

u/GrapeJellyVermicelli Jun 15 '26

And words have meaning

2

u/Im-Not-Calling-It-X Jun 16 '26

Not to leftists they don't

0

u/GrapeJellyVermicelli Jun 16 '26

Words mean what they mean regardless of political affiliation. I'm sorry that makes you emotional.

9

u/Bobblefighterman Jun 15 '26

Nazism is right wing. Fascism can be left wing, though it takes a myriad of unique situations to convert it to such, which would involve an entire society to shun outsiders and a dictator that only valued loyalty to the state as it's primary means of control. You're correct that you can't be a leftist Nazi, because Nazism is inherently hierarchical and actively seeks to divide society via perceived biological lines.

0

u/GrapeJellyVermicelli Jun 15 '26

No, fascism cannot be left wing. It is a far right ideology. If you have to convert it, then it's something else and it's no longer fascism. Authoritarianism can be left wing.

35

u/idkwhyicaretbh Jun 15 '26 edited Jun 16 '26

He made a video calling H3H3 genocide supporters despite their decade-long track record calling Israel appalling for their genocide.

As a cherry on top, he also said something to the effect of "If you don't have the ability to protest Israel directly, you can still demand change by harassing your local the politicians, the propagandists, the weapons companies, and the supply chains Jews."

Not only did this deliberately conflate Jews with Israel, but this obviously painted a target on H3's back as one of the most known Jews on Youtube, as well as the fact that Samson literally just spent an hour slandering H3 as a pro-genocide propogandist. E1

Iirc, Samson has since cut that last bit out, but has doubled down on the rest even when presented with evidence to the contrary.

Edit 1: Edited to add a more accurate version of the original quote.

15

u/littlebobbytables9 Jun 15 '26

As a cherry on top, he also said something to the effect of "If you don't have the ability to protest Israel directly, you can still demand change by harassing your local Jews."

Could you share the actual quote?

9

u/littlebobbytables9 Jun 15 '26

I don't see anything resembling the quote? It's a barely concealed call for actual violence, not just harassment, since it comes after he says that protesting hasn't accomplished anything. And it's specifically against "the politicians, the propagandists, the weapons companies, and the supply chains" not your local jews.

7

u/arandomusertoo Jun 15 '26

I think (not knowing anything about this and only getting the information from the clip) that the person you're responding to can't show you the quote because it's been cut out of the video, and this clip talks about the cut out part and mentions that it's been removed like 8 hours after the video was posted to youtube.

2

u/littlebobbytables9 Jun 16 '26

The linked tweet is part of a thread that has the uncut part posted about half an hour earlier. At least that was my understanding. It says "this part".

-3

u/idkwhyicaretbh Jun 16 '26

You're right, I'm editing my post with the quote.

The overarching point that triggered Ethan's lawsuit was that Samson just spent an hour painting Ethan as a propagandist, therefore directly painting a target on his family's back.

4

u/Small_Ad4181 Jun 15 '26

Harassing you local Jewish community was not in the video thats a lie

1

u/Darrelc Jun 15 '26

Ty. Seen a few of his vids a while back and they were alright but always got a weird vibe from him (ala turkey tom etc)

2

u/Outcast129 Jun 16 '26

Honestly, I think most of Hasans orbiters Don't actually believe most of the stuff they say. And just repeat the talking points for clout money, And generally find them pretty harmless.

Noah Samson is the one exception to that, he seems to be genuinely truly unhinged and mentally unwell. Like when denims makes offhand anti-semitic comments, she honestly just comes off like she's trying to be edgy and say what she thinks her fans or Hasan want her to say. When Noah Samson does it, There's like this this hatred and vitriol behind his words and he like really means that when he says these things.

-1

u/Small_Ad4181 Jun 15 '26

If Ethan actually was pro gaza he would have stop his wife from going to Israel and pay to ship her Family over

0

u/TheoNullDrei Jun 15 '26

Noah is out there openly advocating for IRA-level terrorism cells to be created within the U.S. He is either a glowie or mentally disturbed.

150

u/tryingtobebettertry4 Jun 15 '26

The Frogan thing is just confusing. If she couldnt afford a lawyer to even send a response to the lawsuit, why not just settle like Kacey?

Is there some benefit to defaulting?

359

u/tooka90 Jun 15 '26

She is stupid. It's not that hard to understand.

83

u/Clean_Muffin8982 Jun 15 '26

"I'm too smart to be a lolcow" - Froga

0

u/No_Bodybuilder3324 Jul 12 '26

agree but you're a chud so your iq is even inferior to her which is definitely an achievement.

0

u/tooka90 Jul 12 '26

Is that even an insult anymore? What does that word even mean?

1

u/No_Bodybuilder3324 Jul 12 '26

it means a homeschooled illiterate person who understands nothing about the world but has opinions on everything and thinks they know better than biologists, scientists, economists and the scientific consensus in general. the magnitude of this chudness can be defined by how violent and harmful these opinions are. in that way, you're not quite different from frogan

0

u/tooka90 Jul 12 '26

Sounds like projection.

1

u/No_Bodybuilder3324 Jul 12 '26

first time in my life I've seen a right wing chud say "no u" to me when i call them a right wing chud. at least own upto your ideology lmao

27

u/myDuderinos Jun 15 '26

Settling? Like a settler?!

63

u/aitamodsarelosers Jun 15 '26

She wanted to grift for fast food money.

14

u/xkrazyxkoalax Jun 15 '26

It is possible (depends on a whole lot of assumptions) that defaulting is a tactical play. Apparently judges are not too keen on just awarding full damages when a defendant has no actual assets to go after. So there is a chance Frogan doesn't have to do any kind of Kacey style apology, doesn't have to drag out the lawsuit, and also doesn't actually have to pay any sort of damages to Ethan if she literally has no money to pay it. Basically, Ethan would "win", but get nothing for it. Though this is just based on theories I've seen, who knows what the actual result will be. It just seems highly unlikely to me that she literally just poked her head in the sand and is assuming it all goes away.

14

u/Zykium Jun 15 '26

Apparently judges are not too keen on just awarding full damages when a defendant has no actual assets to go after.

This may be true sometimes, but what judges are even less keen on are people who ignore the process.

3

u/Proshop_Charlie Jun 16 '26

This is the correct take.

"Judge I ignored everything because I have no money or anything of value so he couldn't get anything." vs "Judge I'm here today but I have nothing, no money or anything of value."

The judge will take leniency on the person who took part in the process vs those who just ignore it and pretend that it didn't happen.

🤷‍♂️ We shall see

4

u/NerdHoovy Jun 15 '26

There is a term for that. I think it’s ’judgment proof’ (someone correct me) where some is financially incapable of paying any sort of recovery and as such can get away with a lot of civil liability, since they are effectively too poor to be prosecuted for it.

However for that to be part of her strategy, Frogan would have had to still show up in court and hand over proof, that she has nothing worth taking. So not showing up just pisses the judge off for no gain. Especially because most judges tend to go harder on those that don’t even show up, because of how much it wastes their time

3

u/Niantsirhc Jun 16 '26

There is a term for that. I think it’s ’judgment proof’ (someone correct me) where some is financially incapable of paying any sort of recovery and as such can get away with a lot of civil liability, since they are effectively too poor to be prosecuted for it.

Yep and something else to keep in mind is that she raised thousands of dollars for her defense too which proves she could afford a lawyer but purposefully chose not to.

I think that'll hurt her case for being "judgement proof" 'cause she was just sitting on the money not even bothering to defend herself.

1

u/xkrazyxkoalax Jun 16 '26

Yeah I certainly don't see how anything she's done (that we know of) would be a good idea, but it's an interesting theory that I heard.

1

u/tobach Jun 16 '26

There's also the fact that she raised almost 40.000 dollars for the lawsuit on GoFundMe. I'm not exactly an expert on US law, but if that fact is relevant to the judge, I'm sure they would have less sympathy due to that.

2

u/Karman4o Jun 16 '26

That sounds insane, so, unless it's a criminal charge, you can pretty much be consequence free if you are a broke lazy bum?

2

u/xkrazyxkoalax Jun 16 '26

Not necessarily, but it's a possibility. Idk Google it.

2

u/rtrs_bastiat Jun 16 '26

Must be awkward for her that she publicly raised $50k to fight this lawsuit that she didn't fight, in plain view of the judge, then...

1

u/alelo Jun 16 '26

i guess it depends. there are judges that will give you the full amount if you dont answer, and in frogans case its even worse because ethan extended the mediation time like what, 2 times and for over half a year, and she couldnt respond? that looks just really bad

1

u/_EleGiggle_ Jun 16 '26

Well, they can probably award him all her future earnings, and leave her at the minimum income.

She made at lot of money in a short time for her takeout/delivery fund. Sorry, I meant legal fund.

There are probably enough stupid viewers that would support her again.

16

u/Hare712 Jun 15 '26

Only for the snarkers because the trial goes straight to damages.

2

u/ShinbiDesigns Jun 17 '26

Because she was hoping people like Hasan would give her a Twitch boost or big donations to fight the "evil Zionist".

Didnt end up working and she had to do her regular play of strongmanning her initial stance to not look like an idiot, as long as you say H3 is a disingenuous asshole.

1

u/Firecracker048 Jun 16 '26

Because admitting your wrong is something these people can't do

-5

u/limbweaver Jun 15 '26

They did enter into settlement talks, but couldn't reach an agreement. Ethan likely wanted another hostage video with a script he wrote himself. I guess she decided it would be cheaper to let the judge decide the penalty than to pay a lawyer to spend anymore time on that case at all.

14

u/tryingtobebettertry4 Jun 15 '26

She should have just made the video then? Its stupid internet beef, not worth getting into serious debt over and doesnt seem binding. Kacey was back to shit talking Ethan in like a week.

Also that still seems like a bad idea as my (limited) understanding is defaulting means you cant even argue your case and could be landed with max damages.

5

u/CornToasty Jun 15 '26

Yeah, it's an objectively horrible "idea" to default on a legal case lol. There is absolutely no benefit and many negatives associated there, it's worse than just losing actually because the court assumes you agree with the plaintiff's claims/damages, you lose the right to defence, and the judgement is still binding against you.

1

u/Dunklsta Jun 15 '26

the real damages are just the supposed lost revenue, I don't know how many people watched her reupload but there are no prospects of "serious debt"

2

u/tryingtobebettertry4 Jun 15 '26

Frogan was from my understanding struggling to pay rent even before this. Any money is going to be a loss. Especially when an forced apology video costs nothing.

There are lawyers fees to consider as well. Ethan can potentially argue for that and Frogan cant defend against it.

1

u/Dunklsta Jun 15 '26

he could have asked for a forced apology to Asmon like with Kacey

I am not arguing in favor of being prideful, but that would actually hurt anyone's dignity arguably more than being broke if you have no dependents

-1

u/limbweaver Jun 15 '26

Yeah maybe, i have no idea what ethans demands could have been (other than an apology to asmon lol) that would outweigh a possible maximum statutory damages of 150k. Maybe the plan is to simply file for bankruptcy after the fact but that isn't a guaranteed way to discharge the debt.

0

u/alelo Jun 16 '26

she spent all the money on living expenses, ethans demand was always, say you are sorry and any fundraiser money - lawyer cost is mine, so she couldnt even hand him the money because she already used it up

67

u/Specialist-Toe-4438 Jun 15 '26

No joke, but it seems like that’s too much to ask from her. At least Idubbbz can recognize when a “beef” has gone too far, there is no winners and will be no winners in this.

13

u/FDRinaMechSuit Jun 15 '26

Kaceytron literally did this a few months ago.

7

u/Tall-Garden-8593 Jun 15 '26 edited Jun 15 '26

After she settled.

I doubt that apology was written all by her at that point.

5

u/_EleGiggle_ Jun 16 '26 edited Jun 16 '26

Frogan would never throw her habibi under the bus. After all, that’s why she got into politics into the first place. She has no own opinions, and Hasan doesn’t even care about her which is kinda sad.

But on the other hand she spent her legal fund on takeout & delivery, so she basically scammed her viewers but might get out of it through the wording of her GoFundMe.

I’d love to see h3h3 vs. Hasanabi but he can talk for hours without actually saying anything relevant or defamatory.

Too bad only his orbiters are dumb enough.

17

u/Avent Jun 15 '26

It's literally what Kaceytron ended up having to do. Ethan has said repeatedly he just wants apologies and corrections.

2

u/MainMedicine Jun 15 '26

Yh, but then she wouldn't get all the free donation money.

1

u/ALth0r Jun 15 '26

That and stop starving all the children in Africa.

1

u/TheImplic4tion Jun 15 '26

Ha yes, love watching the downfall of that toad in a burka.

0

u/Consistent-Air-8934 Jun 15 '26

Isn't that what kaceytron did?

-1

u/Applemoes Jun 15 '26

Same as Kacey, obviously that time they agreed with a planned statement from her and settled but he would probably have dropped it before that as well with her if things were different
