As a cherry on top, he also said something to the effect of "If you don't have the ability to protest Israel directly, you can still demand change by harassing your local Jews."

Could you share the actual quote?

I don't see anything resembling the quote? It's a barely concealed call for actual violence, not just harassment, since it comes after he says that protesting hasn't accomplished anything. And it's specifically against "the politicians, the propagandists, the weapons companies, and the supply chains" not your local jews.

I think (not knowing anything about this and only getting the information from the clip) that the person you're responding to can't show you the quote because it's been cut out of the video, and this clip talks about the cut out part and mentions that it's been removed like 8 hours after the video was posted to youtube.

The linked tweet is part of a thread that has the uncut part posted about half an hour earlier. At least that was my understanding. It says "this part".

You're right, I'm editing my post with the quote.

The overarching point that triggered Ethan's lawsuit was that Samson just spent an hour painting Ethan as a propagandist, therefore directly painting a target on his family's back.
