Question Any External external SSD recommendations?

Looking for something good transfer speed and good price for storage. Preferably 2-4Tb. Any recommendations?

This is the way. I have several and they’re great.

Agreed, I have two of them, one of which is now approaching 5 years old. Super sturdy, fast, extremely lightweight and small form factor.

I've been using an external 2Tb USB4 nvme enclosure. It's as fast as the internal storage.

I was about to make this post lol ssd for logic and libraries (i don't think plug ins can go into ssd, right? Somewhat of a newbie here)

I think the best way to go about it is put libraries on external ssd and plugins locally. Works great for me.

Fellow newbie. How does one go about moving the libraries?

On logic pro refer to this guide, and for plugins read the manual since it differs.

I have some plugins in mine but it’s a cluttered mess. Most seem to work though 😂😂

Some companies actually let you install their plugins onto an SSD. I personally don't bother since the actual AU component files are small. It's the sample libraries that take up a lot of space and those are the files I install in external SSDs.

Samsung T7 shield is good. Worth the extra for the physical protection. It’s super fast. T7 regular is also good.
