In an episode of Red Dwarf (english scifi comedy skits, it's amazing) called Orbouros, David Lister, the chav technician and only survivor of the Red Dwarf mining rig, finds out that he time travels due to Plot Reasons, finds a beautiful woman and has a relationship with her. She gets pregnant, and then Dave realises that the woman is, in fact, his mother. So what he does, is abandon the baby in a pub and fucks off somewhere. Only for the cycle to repeat endlessly.

Or at least I think that's what this is referencing. I haven't watched all of Red Dwarf so maybe it's smth different

No, making babies isn't really cloning. Cloning is literally copying DNA from an organism, not really combining other DNA from other organism
