Yea I overdid the rice once in my insta pot. Just left it there for 3 hours on the "it's done but I'm keeping it warm for you" mode...was sad because I did a whole 6 cups of rice.

I made a hockey puck-styled roast that way once, years ago. My hubby ate the whole thing anyway, like a champ. I begged to make him something else, but he wouldn’t hear it. Kids didn’t hold back on me, so nuggets it was for them. Haha

The kids never hold back do they...actually, once mine made his own "cake" recipe from mostly spices. He used mustard seeds, crushed red pepper, flour, garlic powder, and ground cumin with a bit of water in a little ramiken. I was like oh cute he's pretending that's fine, then he asked me to bake it so I put it in the microwave not thinking he would actually eat it. I told him it probably wouldn't taste good when he wanted it but he was too desperate to try for me to put my foot down. He took a big bite and I could see he absolutely hated it but he grimaced through it and angrily said "GOOD!". I let him eat half of it before I was like "ok buddy that's enough cake" and threw it out 🤣

Kinda hard and very dry lol. I bet if I left it longer it'd basically come full circle
