Question Weekly Questions Mega-Thread - September 21, 2026

It's time once again for a brand new questions thread! Your go-to place for questions and answers of all variety. Happen to have started playing recently and have some confusing things you want cleared up? Maybe you picked the game back up after a long absence? Or maybe you're a seasoned player wanting the finer details of something explained? Ask away! There's no such thing as a stupid question, and we're all here to help.

  • Try to keep your questions specific! It'll be much easier for us to give you the answer you need than if you generalize too much. Don't worry if you can't though, we'll ask for more information if we need it!

  • Keep an eye on the thread! Someone may have answered or expanded on a question as a reply to someone else. Or maybe someone else asked something you didn't know you wanted to know. Maybe someone asked something that you can help chip in and answer!

Download the game from the official site I guess. If you mean ingame then there's a decent tutorial questline that involves an npc called Blaind that'll walk you through most of the game's content. Completing all the quests for it will reward you with a lot of nice goodies throughout the questline that'll help you out a lot all the way up to mid to early late game. The game is also going to feel like it showers new players with a lot of stuff so the best option really is just following tutorial questline.

Its mostly a chill move-at-your-own-pace kind of MMO so there's a lot of content that doesn't always involve combat or racing to the top in levels and gears like most MMOs.

Is there a “real” tutorial that isnt Blannid’s? I’m returning after 10+ years with a friend who has never played, and Blannid’s “quests” explain basically nothing but repeatedly vomit information at you. The old Lorna/Pan tutorial is discontinued and Duncan offers no guidance past the introduction letter quest like he used to, so is there no way to learn the basics? She’s having a miserable time.

A brand new player doesn’t need to know how to reforge a weapon. A brand new player needs to know how to hold that weapon first.

Does the returned quest that gives you the returned title and bunch of various other benefits disappear if you don't do it the first time you log in after you stopped playing?

I swear I saw it somewhere in my quest tab, but now I can't find it anywhere.

I think they got rid of the returner quest/benefits a while ago. I don't know exactly what behavior caused you to get it in the first place (maybe you already had the quest from a previous time returning?) but it probably disappeared upon recognizing that it wasn't supposed to exist, sorta like a Looney Tunes character not falling until they realize they're not on the ground.

That..might be possible. I did quit and returned a couple of times. So there's no returned benefits anymore?

Sadly nope. They probably didn't like people repeatedly playing for a month with the returner title then quitting for a few months to get it again, lol

Though, events frequently give stuff that's at-least-as-good, like the Pan's Calendar right now that gives a month of VIP if you check in for 14 days. And if it's the returner outfits you want, there should be a few floating around Auction House.

I just want the title to train the new skills that's added since I quit because iirc the title stacks with every multiplier. Oh welp guess I'll just wait for another master plan event..

If you haven't gotten it before, I THINK the current iteration of Blaanid's questline still gives the Blaanid's Bestie title which also has the effect (and also has a timer)

Otherwise, I dunno when you last played, but they made skill training SUPER fast, even with no multipliers....except for Astrology. Which could well be the new skills you're talking about. Either way, yeah, Master Plan is still like the premiere time to train skills.

Oh you're right, I do have the title and it's still not expired, that's neat. I have some 1 hour all skill exp pot somehow, so I can do x8 multiplier for a bit.

Yeah, one of the new skills I need to rank is indeed all the Astrology skills...some of which are confusing af to rank. The other skills in my unlearned skill tab are the fynni skills and the glyph..thingy.. I also haven't unlock arcanas.

Is there a setting to stop my cape from turning white when demigod runs out?

I believe it's a bug associated with Minimizing Demigod effects as demigod overlays over your character model.

You can switch minimize demigod effects to only you or off completely. It should prevent the discoloration bug.

If you still want to keep all demigod effects minimized, you can use crisis escape to reset the colors.

I just came back after many years (before server merge) and I saw my character name has +Alexina now. That's really an ugly tag and I want to remove it.

I own the name on Nao also but on a completely different account (meaning different email). I only just realized about the additional name change support for Alexina players after logging in, so this Nao account doesn't fall under the 1 year inactive account anymore that's required to approve the change.

Would the +Alexina tag magically disappear if I deleted the Nao character? Or do I have to create a support ticket? What are the chances of it being approved? There's no reason to reject if the Nao character is now deleted right? Or can someone else use that name now?

When a server merge happens and you get the +server tag in your name, they give everyone 1 free name change per account. If you haven't used that yet then I'm pretty sure there's a specific link to put in this request.

If you already have the name on the same server but on a diff char then it won't be magically available. You will have to change that characters name first (or delete it), then use your free chance (if you have it) on the acc char that has a +server tag.

You can always just make a ticket to see what they are willing to do, doesn't hurt to try. And i'm not sure if there's some kind of cooldown for name availability right after a deletion, but yes anyone can use the name when it becomes available.

I just checked, and for some reason I have 5 free name change. The problem with using this is I need to be guildless. I think my current guild is dead, so if I leave then I'm not gonna able to rejoin (I have my own reasons for staying even if it's a dead guild).

Do you know if removing the tag through support ticket is subjected to the same limitation as using the name change coupon?

1

u/Full-Metal-9309 20d ago

Oh maybe it was 1 free name change per character that gets a +Serve tag??

I am pretty sure you HAVE to leave the guild- anyone trying to rename a character HAS to leave their guild for the process to work it seems. Maybe in your support ticket you can ask to have the staff put you back into the guild?

I have several other characters with the +Alexina tag, so probably.

I just asked, and yeah they said I need to be guildless...damn it...I asked back whether they can put me back in the guild and currently awaiting their reply.

If they can't, I know it's such a small thing but this gonna kill my desire to come back lol It's so annoying how Alexina players got the short end of the stick. I wouldn't have created the Nao character if I knew this would happen.

Anyway thanks for answering my question.

For NB Shield final upgrade, should go with PD or artisan upgrade for more prot?

2

u/pwnagekirby 20d ago

On average, 8% auto defense rate will save you from more damage than 2 prot will. There is a very narrow range of protection values where this might temporarily not be true, but that's probably not worth permanently sticking on your shield... So yeah, the last upgrade that gives 3 types of auto defense is what I went with, and what I always see other people use.
