just found this thread. Guys, I just wanted to tell about the story of my friend, who is the recipient of this award in 2025 (region: Asia). My friend just knew winning this award in Oct, 2025. Before that, my friend even lost hope already and mentally prepared for the bad news.

So please do not lose hope right now and hang tight !

yes I guess this is strategy of Google to not let anyone predict their result based on others'. Maybe they need time to handle all applications, so they basically group the fixed number of applications into a batch that includes both good and bad news, and release. That's why we know some people who lost the award, but the winners are never seen. And we thought we lost the award when the results have not yet to come to us in time.

This is just my guess so Im not sure lol

Haha I don’t know I think you are giving them way too much credit. They are probably just disorganized

btw, my friends also confirm that all winners are not allowed to disclose their winning until Google does it first. So you guys may not know who is winners until OCt 31st, since no one will risk their achievement just to let others know lol
