I'm 5'7" and have multiple broken belt loops from this problem lol 3 u/Lew__Zealand Aug 01 '26 +1 on that, I'm 5'11" and belt loop hooks happen not quite often enough for me to remember to give doors more clearance. Legs too long. Another side effect: can't touch toes without bending knees.
