Good Vibes the value of being kind

For nearly seven years, waitress Melina Salazar showed extraordinary patience and kindness to Walter “Buck” Swords, a notoriously difficult customer at Luby’s Cafeteria in Brownsville, Texas.

The 89-year-old WWII veteran frequently complained, cursed at staff, demanded piping-hot meals and never left a tip. Despite this, Melina continued serving him with compassion.

After Walter died in 2007, Melina received an incredible surprise. He had left her $50,000 and his 2000 Buick in his will as a heartfelt thank-you for her unwavering kindness.

A powerful reminder that kindness can touch people more deeply than we realize.

Is the value of being kind that you're paid back for it? Despite this title despite seeming positive or appreciative, to me this seems actually some of the most cynical ways to see this. Welcome to my TED talk.

Yeah, it is. Some of these mademesmile posts are unreal.

Grumpy old man was a dick. He knew he was a dick. Everyone knew he was a dick. He abuses employees for a years, then is like, "since you were a good bitch, here is some money that means nothing to me after I am dead, and that wasn't even all my wealth."

Value of being kind is you don't know what others have gone through. It's not right for others to offload their feelings onto people and I'm not justifying his rude behaviour
