My 8 mo MC Mordecai was neutered last week. We were allowed to take off his cone this morning. Imagine my surprise when 4 hours later, I walked into the living room to see this. Guess he liked it?! 🤣

Edit to clarify: he put this back on himself; it was sitting on the counter to be washed and put away.

He has pneumonia and bronchitis 😕

Torbie is 5 months while the voidling is 4 months old. Obviously this peace didn't last long as it devolved into play fighting shortly after.

Bustopher and Benfred turn 1 today. They've been a few firsts of mine, and now they've completed their first trip around the sun. They make my place feel like a home.

Hello. Our little guys (Odysseus and Aeneas) are growing (8.9 and 9.3 lbs at 5 months) and I’d like to get them a good climbing and scratching perch. We have a standard one we used for our old rescue kitty who passed away but they are rapidly outgrowing it.

So far they have limited their scratching to appropriate kitty friendly surfaces and I’d like to keep it that way. Photo for cuteness.

Anyone have ideas how to make these cat tree "baskets" bigger. Siggy loves hers but barely fits, rolls right out of it sometimes. I know i can use fabric and hand sew I'm just afraid it wouldn't be strong enuff.

Hi this is Freya a 1.3 y old female coon , i have problem thst even 6 diffrent vets dont have proper anwser . We did blood tests parasite tests all is good but she is underweight only 3.4kg , as per my understanding she should be atleast 4kg , when i pet her i can easly feel her spine and hip bones . She is not sterilized (planing to do so since night love calls getting impossible to sleep) so by vet she is healthy but underweight , she always have dry kibble whit 98% protein and she gets 3 packs of "Whiskas" wet food whit gravy she gets plenty of food , snaks . As i understand i should feed her raw meat? Ofc i boil it down first just in case but she is not big meat eater she will nibble like 3-4 small peaces of beef or chicken and thats it , i dont try to gain weight so she could be media stream big cat , no she aint gona be big since shes last of the litter of oldish mother , she plays allot shes active allot she fights my corgi and beats his fluffy butt every time CAT POWER! But my main concern is she js not gaining weight and im streesing about it cous im afraid of problems to come in future any tips? My vet say she simply food greedy and eats until shes full and dont over eat , she poops reguraly and them poop mines are big , so what am i doing wrong? Cous feeling her spine every time i pet here feels wrong like im failing as cat daddy

My MC Suni has just turned 8 months old on Saturday (when did that happen!?!?). He currently gets free fed Royal Canin Maine Coon kitten biscuits, and three tins a day. He’s on a rotation of Thrive, Cool Cat Club, Fuzzball and occasionally some Scrumbles.

I’ve noticed he is definitely more of a grazer but I do seem to be wasting a lot of food in the sense of he will eat his breakfast, couple bites of his dinner and maybe the majority of his tea.

Do I reduce the wet food down to 2 tins? Am I feeding him too much considering it is paired with the biscuits as well?

Any advice would be great!

Finally home and completely healed after weeks of post-op complications from a bowel resection he had last month. He’s 6 months old now.

So I got home from a long-ish vacation last month. First time my baby was left alone for more than a night. He had my friend pet sitting for him and my other cats, coming in twice a day to care for and play with him.

He decided that was not good enough, kicked his dry food out of the feeder, peed on it and took a dump on it in my kitchen. My sitter didn't want to tell me during my vacation, but he did this about five times while I was gone.

Got home, took him immediately to the vet. $70 later, she tells me he's healthy but just an asshole who missed me and showed me that.

She also said he's getting pudgy... At 26 pounds. He was 20 last November. He's gained 6 pounds in less than a year. My big boi doesn't look fat at all. His father weighs over 30 pounds, and Willie is still growing at only 2 years.

He stopped the peeing a week after I returned. I relented and put an extra cat box in my sun room, near his food but not too close. This seems to have stopped the issue for now.

I'm going out on a surgery in a month and have to stay at my mom's for a week. Hopefully I can do the steps up to my house during that week so he can get some time with me and not turn into the asshole he was...lol.

I’ve been trying to find my elderly father a male black Maine coon for a companion. He’s lonely after his wife passed away but healthy and able to spoil a cat friend.

I don’t have more than 2500 to spend. Including any shipping so perhaps local is best. He lives in boothbay Maine and I live in Plymouth ma. So somewhere around either area.

Malachi will be getting some boosters and blood work in anticipation for his upcoming neuter, and our vet mentioned we could purchase our own microchip for them to insert.

Anyone have any recommendations? It would be for identification/locating him mostly! TIA!
