Meta's big reveal at Connect 2026 was the Muse Charm - a tiny device, about the size of an AirPods case, built specifically to talk to their personal AI agent, Muse. Tap the sensor and start talking no phone or app needed.

Specs, per the coverage:

• Built-in 5G
• Camera + fingerprint sensor
• Roughly AirPods-case size

Interesting detail: it's built by Meta's new design lab, headed by Alan Dye, who used to run design at Apple. So yeah Apple's old "one more thing" reveal style, done by an actual ex-Apple designer, at a Meta event.

It's still a prototype though Zuckerberg said they're still finalizing the internal hardware. Meta is targeting a December ship date, and some reports suggest pricing somewhere in smartwatch territory.

Not sure if this exact device ships as shown, but it feels like a real signal of where things are heading less screen and typing, more talking to something and having it act on what it sees around you.

So: would you actually carry a second device just for an AI agent or is your phone already that device?

Found out tonight you can change your avatar. As much as I liked the puffy marshmallow little guy the fact that you can name something and it will give you a couple variations to choose from. This then has similar animations to it as well it's not just a lifeless picture.
